The Senator Inn & Spa is a well-equipped hotel located in a convenient location. The rooms are described as large, clean, and equipped with various amenities. The hotel's restaurant, Cloud 9, receives praise for its delicious food and exceptional service, particularly from the food service manager, Ridge, who went above and beyond to assist guests.
The hotel's spa is a notable feature, with guests highlighting the quality of the spa services and the ability to take advantage of the classes offered as a hotel guest. The grounds of the inn are also described as walkable, providing guests with the opportunity to explore the surrounding area.
While some reviews mention the hotel's "dated" decor, others appreciate the rich history and original charm of the building, understanding that many structures in Maine are from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The hotel's location is considered convenient, with nearby activities such as hiking and access to the state capitol.
Overall, the Senator Inn & Spa is praised for its clean, quiet rooms, excellent restaurant, and outstanding spa services, making it a popular choice for guests visiting the area.

Bed is lumpy. Also the sheets are scratchy, like cheep linens. Room was clean but very dated and old well used carpet. They do have a very nice workout gym though.
