Hate to do it, but…. Twice (last year) I went in, had a really great experience. Helpful folks!
Twice (this week) I get the same guy. Seems like a manager, guy with glasses.
Rude, arrogant, acted like I was upsetting him by asking questions. I couldn’t answer them fast enough to get out of the way. Asked if my dark paint should have a tinted primer, he said “no”, quick call to the other store for second opinion(because I was told this last year, at THEIR store) they said yes to tint. Now I have to go get it tinted. Another wasted trip. And this time, I’m skipping bye and driving the extra to Waterville. Augusta has terrible customer service, in this employee.
The other lady(customer) at the store, same, asking questions and the guy was so condescending because she didn’t know her sq. Footage of coverage. She literally said “the Waterville store, it’s so easy, you come in and they help you through it, I thought it would be the same here, I’m sorry.”
No lady, you’re good.
The other customers and I exchanging looks.
I hate bad reviews, I held this after my first interaction. Came in again for benefit of doubt. Nope. Same attitude.
Sadly, I have to use this place, and I may cut my own throat by posting and receive worse service.
I don’t judge on people’s mistakes, but how they fix them.
To the dude, I really hope there isn’t something terrible going on in your life. I mean it. I really hope things are okay with you.
For now, I’ll take my combat disabled veteran owned business elsewhere I think.

Not much for answering the phone (19 0's later..after 6 you get disconnected and have to call again) guess my money will go to other companies that can answer the phone

The clerk quickly looked up my previous order and was able to mix 4 gallons of paint and help us with other supplies. The entire experience was 15 minutes! It was fantastic!
