I appreciate our delivery people especially at this time of year. I get discouraged when the packages arrive all beat up, ripped, holes in the box. The worst is when the packages are left in the bad weather.I saw someone wrote complaining about UPS putting things in the mailbox. I know businesses like LLBean uses UPS Smartpost which leaves the facilities by UPS but final delivery is by US mail. It is absolutely legal … Smart post.

There must be a new delivery person delivering our Amazon packages. The last 4 deliveries have been put in our USPS mailbox. This practice is illegal. The last delivery person was kind and polite when we asked her to deliver to our back porch in our dooryard, when we saw her headed to the front step, (which is obviously not an entrance). We have tried to call the Baileyville office, to talk about this, but nobody will answer the phone there. In the photo I've added the UPS label is clearly marked. This package was yet again, left inside our USPS mailbox.

omg-2 days in a row my ups delivery person has left my packages outside the door. in 7 years this has never happened-outside the apt COMPLEX door. i have lung disease and 2 heart attacks-i am on oxygen and cannot lift heavy items. i had to call my son from across town to come and help me. normally- for 7 years ups delivered to my apartment door. i called the 1800 number yesterday and the man who i barely understood- said he would try to fix my issue. im so upset. please please deliver it to my apartment and not outside the front door in the breezeway.

Hours are erratic and change based on the random day. Don’t expect hours to be as promised from the UPS customer Service people. Also when they don’t feel like driving too far from this center they will keep the packages and not send any notification until you call trying to locate the missing packages which they say were “agreed with customer to hold at customer center” even though they it’s a unilateral “agreement” and you are never informed. Pick FedEx or United States Postal Service instead for zip code 04619 for more reliable and professional service.
