During our coast to coast camping trip in our 23' RV, we needed a service facility that could handle our large vehicle for a wheel alignment and other vehicle maintenance. We were very fortunate to schedule our service with Bennett Auto Center. The staff was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The services were expertly performed on schedule at a reasonable cost. The indoor waiting area was comfortable. If we lived in Maine, Bennett Auto Center would be my #1 choice for vehicle services.

Tom & the whole team at Bennett Auto Center are top notch! They say that customer service is dead but not at Bennetts - they are absolutely amazing. They have done it all for us over the years - tires, mufflers, inspection stickers, oil changes, studded tires....you name it, they have done it on all our vehicles. There is no place I would want to take my car. I couldn't recommend them more!!

We are from out of state. They took us in the next day we called. The problem was fixed quickly. I would use them as my mechanic if I lived in the area.

Dropped in to Bennett’s today with what I thought was an electrical problem. They were jam packed with cars and I had no appointment. I described my problem and owner said he would ask one of his employees to take a quick look to offer advice on what the problem was to guide me on next step. A kind man came out, patiently listening to my description of the problem. He took a quick look and found the problem, told me part I needed, and provided a temporary fix so we could safely drive. He would not accept a tip, only asking that we keep them in mind for future car repairs. Will only use Bennett’s for all future car work. Truly unique and refreshing customers service!

Genuinely sad to be making this post as I’ve had a few very pleasant experiences here. Over a year ago though, I had to have tires on my Jeep replaced and they gave me an oil change I did not ask for, nor was I do for. Not only did I find this unprofessional but as I left they gave me a different customer’s keys that they then had to come pick up. About a year has passed and a car that I previously had no issues with has needed over $3k in repairs because that very oil change was done incorrectly. They had spilled oil on the engine and o rings which resulted in my vehicle not being able to drive over 40 mph and being in the shop for months, as no one could figure out what was wrong. Please don’t take your car here.

Wonderful experience - had my car towed to Bennett's Auto Repair overnight without an appointment (emergency break down and from out of town) - I was looked after promptly and honestly - wish they could be my permanent repair shop
