The staff member was out on the sidewalk by the road, on her phone, when I stopped for gas.Pushed the "pay inside" button, and waited for minutes, until she slowly walked back inside..and still didn't push the button for a minute.Went inside to pay, and she was in the office, sitting on a chair..on her phone still. Stood there and had to wait for her to be done her super important phone business.Just another younger person ruining another job. Sounds about right.

There was a male employee works over night that I've already made a complaint about to the main office he's tall long hair n glasses DO NOT GO INTO STORE IF HES WORKING all the other employees are amazing and so kind would give 5 star if not for him

Grade: FDetails- As of December 6, this place seems to close at 5:00 PM. Way too inconvenient to customers, especially those who want to come in past 5. Store used to be open 24/7.- Store size way too small. Only one aisle containing chips, candy, water, gasoline, baked goods, etc. pushing other items to the built in aisle on the other side of the store where they can easily be miscategorized. Other Big Apple stores have several shelves.- Slushie machine inside store. However, it is located at the entry to the cashier's desk, which isn't a good place at all. Not to mention, the placement of said machine is prone to causing blockages.- No restroom facility; don't expect to find one in this building. There is a hallway between the coolers and a desk. This can trick people into thinking there is a public restroom facility. Instead, they go out back into the employee's area including the office and the entrance to behind the coolers.- An annoying screech is heard whenever the entry door and the cooler doors are open.- Placed in a convenient location on the southern side of the Tree Streets neighborhood.Follow up:Big Apple location on State Street has lost us as customers. Location will be reported to the CN Brown Company if this keeps up.

Very I'm happy by one of the employees that work at state street Bangor me big apple store . They are un educated lazy n very unkind to there customers .I was just there n purchased two beers which was natural ice which I didn't realize at the time .so when I continued my payment n stuff .I then realized I grabbed the wrong beers .my intent was to grab two Busch ices instead .but I didn't . .so after I bought the two natty ices .I asked the person behind the register if I could exchange them to two Busch ices n the employee said in a ride was well sipping on his drink that he didn't know to do refunds .lol. well it's just bout the same price i payed almost $4 for the natty ices .I again asked him are u kidding me .it's bout the same price almost ..I said let me go hrab one n check it . Lol .never had a chance cause he walked off n outside to join his friends .so I said heck with it n left .

I would give zero stars if it were a option! approximetly 4:45pm today my vehicles gaslight came on, pulled into the big apple on state st, pulled up to pump #1 and purchased $10 worth of gas. pump did not work, the cashier had me pull ahead to pump #3 only to have the same issue as the first pump. I went back in the store to address it to the cashier (who was clearly blazed off some weed as his eyes were completely bloodshot red and glossier then a donut) and he told me "I'm not sure if our system is messed up or what but idk if we received youre funds" big apple clearly received my funds as I immediately pulled up the bank statement on my phone and showed him, he still didn't seem to care and told me I was "causing a scene amd not helping the case any" I was nothing but polite and cordial with him he was just buckling under the pressure and making excuses rather then correct the issue immediately. he told me to leave big apple (without the gas I just paid for) and to "come back tomorrow at 8am" and ask the maneger for my $10 returned or $10 worth of fuel...(mind you I pulled into this store because my gas light was on) so to sum it up I just had my money stolen from me and was treated very poorly on top of it. being a contributing member of society/business owner i do not tolerate this kind of treatment and EXPECT the manager make this right tomorrow at 8am. I'm guilty of nothing but paying for gas and not getting the gas I paid for.

Manager is extremely rude and condescending, clearly on some sort of power trip that she prioritizes over customer's comfort and satisfaction, as well as their money. Come on, Big Apple! You can do so much better than this. You need to get rid of that horrible, callous person and hire a decent human being to manage your store.
