Many of the overhead lights are out, causing the store to have a very dark appearance. Helpful associates! Olivia was friendly and offered coupons at checkout. Another associate incredibly resourceful in helping me find something specific.

If you purchase a sewing machine here and it's damaged and was obviously owned by someone else, this company will not refund you completely and they will put the damaged product back on the shelf for another sucker to buy. This happened to my wife. She emailed the manager and they basically said, "Too bad!"

I ordered fabric and after 26 days of back and forth e-mails, I never received a tracking number and eventually the order was canceled citing technical issues, this was my first time dealing with Joann and was not expecting such unprofessionalism.

Go in, I'm a guy, I make stuff, sewing etc, old ladies working there call me derogatory names. I couldn't even care, but you buy something, get a coupon, and then try to use a coupon later. Things that aren't marked on sale are suddenly on sale when you get to the register, and your coupon is invalid. Every time I go there, I wish I hadn't. Shelves are bare, they been looking like they going out of business for months. Store employees telling me how much better Hobby Lobby is. Maybe business would be better if yall actually tried to sell something besides cliche nick knack trash. But hey, they finally paved their driveway.

I went to the Joannes on Stillwater in Bangor Maine. This was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had, i’m fairly new to sewing and I had bought a pattern that I wanted to do with my granddaughter. I found the fabrics that I needed but I needed help with the notions as I didn’t know what some of these items were, the first lady in the fabric section said she could not help me because she does not sew, so I asked her if there was someone else in this department that could help me, so she said that person was on break so I waited. When she showed up, she directed me back to the firs lady that had already told me that she could not help me. At that point all she did is point in five different directions saying you can get this here you can get that there, once I got there I had no idea what I was looking for, so finally, I left my cart there and I told them this was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. where I moved here from, the ladies in the fabric department were way more helpful. They would’ve at least brought me to where I needed to go and pointed things out for me. I will never shop at Joanne's again. Is it too much to ask for someone to do their job?

The parking lot is terrible - seems they have tried to fill some of the holes with gravel but this only helps a small bit. The whole store stinks, it’s as if the staff sprays a smelly something before they open. I can see that it would trigger migraines. I get out as fast as I can (and make sure to miss the potholes!)

Pot holes like craters and every craft supply in the world to fix it; go figure. No notes.

The employees are very friendly. I usually find what I need. The parking lot is horrible and has been for the year and a half that I’ve lived in the area. These are not potholes but craters.

I love the big twist yarn, they have many colors and always in stock

Found everything that I needed but the parking lot is littered with HUGE potholes and there were a couple leaks in the ceiling that clearly needed attending to (of no fault of the employees of course!)

I've gone here exactly once. And I'm going to share a secret to any other dudes who will skip over this place. This is where witchy people get witchy things. Trust me 100%.

I LOVE JOANN but I was surprised AND disappointed to find the facade of a new store like in the google photos. The parking lot seems to have been bombarded by shells so much the potholes are present and dangerous in the parking lot. Anyway, at Joann I can find everything from cricut products to fabric and I love that because we don't have a store like that in Canada ! Everytime it cost me hundreds of dollars.

The parking lot is full of huge potholes. They have total disregard for clients and their vehicles. This is why I gave it one star.

That store is so gross. I went in to get yarn and immediately walked out. It smelled like mold and the ceiling was falling apart. I'm not going back!

The staff at Joann are all incredibly helpful and friendly, and I found most of what I was looking for. My disappointment is really in the appearance of the store lately and the godawful parking lot. The store is past due for an updated look! The outside is an ugly beige color, chipped and dingy on the outside. The inside is missing ceiling tiles, and it looks like it needs some work. The parking lot hasn't had attention in over a decade- totally derelict. The potholes are very hazardous. Time to fix it all up!
