I'm no expert, that's why I went to someone to ask questions. I was able to explain my goal, proposed a plan and ask for feasibility of success. This was met with respect and discussion from his experience and possible outcomes. An hour later we have a plan, approximate cost and possible choices dependent on the findings of my original equipment. I really have to say that I am confident I will be happy with my end product. I am looking forward to starting my project and feel I am not wasting time or money on miss-steps because of my inexperience.

Great company if you want to buy a badass racing motor...I went for the ride with a friend because it was 3.5hrs away from home and they hooked the motor up to a machine (not sure what its called) so they could show him exactly what the motor sounded like and that it worked. They helped us load it and off we went. First time buying from them but I know my friends very pleased with his purchase and if he needs another motor down the road he will be calling them to get what he needs!!!!

Bought a Chevy Cruze from these guys about a year and a half ago. They listed it as being “loaded” due to the touch screen radio, sat. Nav, etc. which would be pretty cool if it wasn’t shorted. I brought this up before I bought it and they said they would fix it, which they did. Purchased it, brought it home, suddenly saw smoke coming from the engine. Apparently there was a coolant leak. I should have returned it right then. They took care of the leak, but it didn’t take long for the screen to fizzle out again. They fixed it again and this time I learned how they were doing it. They apparently thought upping the fuse from 7.5 to 10 to 20 was considered “fixing it”, but they were just burning wires. I told them the third time that they need to look at the wiring instead of changing fuzes. I told them a week in advance that I would bring it in to get it fixed again. They took it and after another week I called them asking what was going on with my car because I needed it. They said they have a new screen coming in (which obviously wasn’t the problem in the first place. I already told them the problem was in the wiring). It would be another week but I can pick my car up in the mean time. I did. When I turned my car on, the screen turned on, and everything worked... but I could smell burning. Like wires. I looked at the fuse and, lo and behold, they put a 30 in where a 7.5 belongs. That’s over 3x the power that should be going through that. This almost started a fire in my car. I instantly pulled the fuse and tried talking to someone about it, but even though the door was open, nobody was home. Seriously?!? I haven’t been back since. They deserve a 1 star because they thought they could solve an electric problem by using more electricity, almost starting a fire. That alone is absolutely awful. They also thought they could replace one coolant part and call it good. There were actually 3 more leaks they didn’t find which I had to pay out of pocket for. The windshield was also covered in scratches and dents. The first place I took this car was to a car wash because I thought the dents I was seeing was dirt. Guess they shouldn’t park their cars so close to the dirt covered road.I still haven’t gotten the screen fixed, but at least I can somewhat control the radio through the steering wheel. Goodbye to Bluetooth, GPS and everything else, though.

Had a 350 SBC engine built for my 77 Nova which was a straight 6. along with a full custom bent exhaust, it took us some time to get everything figured out, but the build and install process went great and Bernie handled all of the chasing and waiting. I'm a couple thousand miles in now and the cam and exhaust sound better and better as it breaks in. Thanks Bernie!

At this point Buyer use extreme caution sells cars without title while using the town office he lives in and the people there he knows to trick everyone of them into his scam, more of a chop shop operation with a state pulled off license.

A year ago I bought a car from Thayer’s, he illegally sold me a vehicle without a title...and even charged me for a “title fee”, for a title I never obtained! Today I found out that for a year “my” car has never been mine; even tho it’s registered in my name because Bernie gave me a fake previous title number. I am unable to trade in or sell my vehicle now because I do not have a title for it.
