This U-Haul facility is absolutely garbage. I needed a UBox delivered to Bangor from Pittsburgh because I was a travel nurse in the area. When we moved to Bangor at the beginning of July, we never received a phone call from this location to schedule the delivery of the box. I endlessly attempted to call this location to schedule delivery but no one answered, and apparently corporate is unable to schedule deliveries. After being on the phone with corporate (who really tried their best given the fact that their hands were tied) I was finally given the contact information for someone named Nick, who is apparently the only person in all of Bangor’s Uhauls (according to him) that does anything with Uboxes. He was eventually apologetic about the delay and delivered the box to our temporary home at 11pm the day it was supposed to be delivered.Fast forward three months when it was time to leave Bangor. The box was scheduled to be delivered on 9/22. I, again, never received a phone call from this location to schedule delivery of the box. I went through the same process with corporate (because, again, NO ONE answers the phone at this U-Haul) and I again finally reached Nick to schedule the delivery. He promised (his words, not mine), that the box would be delivered 9/22 in the morning. The box never showed up and I couldn’t reach anyone about where it was. Eventually the next day, my husband drove down to the location to see what was going on, and eventually the box got dropped off. I have no idea if we would have gotten this box if my husband didn’t go down to the location basically begging for it to be given to us.When it was time to get the box picked up, the same exact thing happened again. Luckily I had this Nick person’s cell phone number by this point and had to BEG for him to pick up the box. It still sat there for days before anyone picked it up.If you have any choice in the matter, do NOT use this U-Haul in Bangor. I swear I lost years of my life because of the frustration this situation caused.

Impossible to get ahold of anybody here- I had a ubox sitting in my driveway for two days when it was supposed to be picked up the first day; they “forgot”. I also did not get a call before it was delivered to me so I had no idea what time it was coming.

I was charged for the wrong miles being on the paperwork that didnt match the truck .Along with the truck not being full ith was at a half a tank. Also didn't have the uhaul for are slotted time because we were transferred over to the Washington st from the odlin rd uhal because they didn't have a truck ther after I made the reservation for it. Plus they charged me for having the truck for two days when I only had it for 8hrs and I was under the 100 miles I was at 86 miles when the truck was brought back .

We were there on time to return a trailer and followed the sign directing where to park for equipment return- silly us! We obeyed the sign saying to wait for help - silly us! When we finally gave up and went inside, the return went quickly. They were busy, but it would have been nice for one of the workers walking around outside to tell us we needed to go inside.

It is nearly impossible to get ahold of these people. I tried calling and waited on hold for 10 minutes before speaking with anyone. Then as soon as an agent answered, I asked my question and they hung up immediately. Sooo annoying.

Best place for storage I think, climate control and I never had to worry about my stuff, staff was also nice!

Guy hung up on me multiple times and said they aren't dealing with trucks. Very rude and unprofessional. I also called 5 times before they even answered

I made an appointment a month out to have a hitch installed on my car. I was told it would take 3 hours so I gave them my car and walked around the neighborhood to grab lunch. After 3 hours I hadn't heard anything so I called and they said they just pulled the car into the garage and it would be 3 hours. I said OK and continued to wait. 3 hours later I walked back over to the shop and saw that my car had not moved. I asked them what the deal was and they said ‘yeah, that car hasn’t moved.’ They proceeded to tell me no one there has installed a hitch on this type of car before and they weren’t sure how long they needed and they would need to reschedule me. They were completely unsympathetic to the fact that I had just wasted my entire day with little to no communication regarding the state of the job or their ability to complete it. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I did end up speaking to a nice customer service rep who was much more sympathetic to the situation and helped me cancel the order and get a refund.

We had a great experience. The lady who helped us get the car hauler set up was amazing and probably one of the hardest working people we've seen in a ling time. She made our experience efficient and she offered great customer service!

Pretty aggravated. I tried to call to rent a storage unit and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I drove to the building to check availability and was completely ignored by the staff person...didn't even make eye contact with me. She was helping another customer which I understand, but she could have said I'll be right with you...waved ... anything, nope. Just walked out of the store to assist him and left me standing there in the line. Im not really all about people treating me like I don't exist when I'm literally chasing them down and trying to GIVE them money so....I walked out.I have another unit (currently with U-Haul in another town) that I will be transferring to the new unit I rented today with U-Haul's competition who has time to speak to current/prospective customers.My advice to anyone else...there's a great place on Stillwater ave. that rents trucks and units...call them instead.
