Very comfortable room and a great breakfast. Very pleasant and friendly staff. I liked the fact you can walk into your room right from the sidewalk in front of the rooms. No stairs to climb. Great if you have a lot of luggage.

We loved our stay. Convenient to going to the national Park and also downtown. Close to many other great restaurants also. Family of 4 + 1 dog and we had plenty of room. Clean and Nice bathroom. Great dog walking area with visits from the local deer đŚ

What a great hotel! Really close to Acadia and Bar Harbor and the entire Mont Desert Island area. The staff is the stand out feature. Very comfortable, nice rooms with what you need for a four-day vacation. Breakfast was good, same-same for hotels, but the coffee was quite good which is a big plus.
The staff are pleasant, helpful, and genuine. A grerat value.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to visit the area.

Was pleasantly surprised by our stay. (We got a pet friendly room even though we didnât have a pet) The room was very clean, service was good. Only comment I would make was maybe having a different meat option like chicken sausage or turkey sausage for people who donât eat pork. Other than that I would highly recommend!

The location was not good as we missed the hotel on our first pass by, but it was close to a ton of lobster places. Our room was like a motel, but I do have to say the bed is very comfortable and warm. Bathroom was pretty clean and nicely decorated. The phone in the room was very dirty, but I wasnât planning to use it, either. The outer area looks like a motel. The room irked of stinky socks or feet, and you canât get rid of that. No mold spotted, and no leftover stuff in the rooms. Nice view of the sky.
Also the check in area was very clean and had a ton of couches. Also, there was free coffee, but I didnât take it. Checking in was a little long, kinda made me a little frustrated.
For breakfast, there were barely any choices. Waffle maker sometimes doesnât work; and full of carbs. However, the seats in the breakfast area were pretty comfortable. There were a lot of lobster restaurants near the hotel. I didnât get to go to the pool, but it looked fun. Didnât find the playground like people said.

$300-400 price for a $50 value room.
The staff we booked our room with was very sweet.
We had planned two nights here but could barely tolerate one night.
Our room was supposed to be no animals allowed, however it smelled awful like animal pee and the towels smelled like dog. In fact the entire grounds smelled like pee the night we arrived.
The breakfast was awful.
When I brought our issue up to the front desk, luckily the general manager was there listening in because the front desk associated was going to make us pay for the second night even though we were not staying. She did offer to move us to another room but the motel was not for us, we booked elsewhere.
I know this isnât necessarily the motels fault, but the neighbors of our room were very rude and aggressive as well. This is the kind of people the motel attract. Very unsatisfactory.
Noteworthy details: The entire grounds smells like pee, the breakfast is trash, the price is astronomical. We got such an elegant stay in a better location with an ocean view for less than we paid here.

Hotel in the form of a motel. The exteriors are pleasant, including a pretty swimming pool. The room was OK and spacious but a little dark because the window is small (and the curtains don't fold down enough on the sides). Classic breakfast. Possibility of eating outside. The prices are high for the services but we are in Bar Harbor.

Stayed for 3 nights and we were very happy with the hotel. Room was clean. The property is not only well maintained, they have chairs out around the property for you to relax and sit outside, which is really nice. Our room was in the back, and we enjoyed sitting out in the Adirondack chairs right outside our room. It's quiet and secluded. Breakfast is great. Location is great if you don't want to be in the more crowded downtown of Bar Harbor. Only 5 min from the entrance to Acadia and there is a seafood restaurant, BBQ restaurant and ice cream place all about 30 sec away.

Room 109 has black mold in the ceiling and stinks like pet urine and mold. It stunk when we moved in, I thought an open window would air it out, but it didnât. The management moved us to a different room that smells much better.

Our family appreciated not having a floor above us, so there was no noise coming from others. The grounds were clean and pretty. The price for what we received was overpriced. Some of the pictures online are out of date. Room service does not come to supply you with towels/toiletries unless you call a day ahead but we didnât know that until we called for more towels & toilet paper. The room was clean, the bed was not very comfortable. If you get hot at night while sleeping, you may need a fan as the air conditioner was not the best. The free breakfast was horrible.

We traveled with our pet to see Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The location was ideal - right off of Rte. 3, close to a park entrance, only 5 miles away from Bar Harbor, and walking distance to a local lobster pound/restaurant. The hotel room and bathroom were spacious, clean and modern. The grounds are well kept and the âdog areaâ was maintained. The staff - very courteous and friendly.
