“We rented e bikes here on a recent trip.
Pros:
The bikes are a ton of fun to ride.
They had more availability than other shops in town.
Staff is really nice
Cons:
Website has ZERO information when you rent other than bike size. No detail on policies, age limits, nothing.
Bikes were in rough shape. One even had a significant warp in rear tire”

“Rented e-bikes from this shop during a trip to Southwest Harbor, and the experience couldn’t have been better. I called a couple weeks ahead to reserve the bikes—super easy process over the phone. When we arrived right at opening, the bikes were fully charged, in great condition, and ready to go. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us a bunch of local riding suggestions, including a few hidden paths we never would’ve found on our own. We spent the whole day exploring the southwest side of the island and had an amazing time. Returning the bikes was just as smooth. If you’re looking for a hassle-free rental with great service and fair prices, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!”
“Bar Harbor Bikes has really good quality and well-maintained bikes! It was a pleasure to ride their Trek Checkpoint gravel bike, and the team was willing to make adjustments to make things more comfortable. Really glad they had the option for SPD pedal add on as well. It was conveniently located to the park as well, so if I come back to Acadia for the Carriage Trial, I will definitely rent here again!”
