“They have a small assortment of items to buy and support the local community. The “silver haired lady” at the front desk who other reviewers thought was rude is actually very nice and accommodating. She is a volunteer serving her community and a humanitarian. I greeted her kindly and she responded in kind. Sometimes we all just have to keep in mind that we all need to be kind to one another. So, to the “silver haired lady at the desk” hugs to you and thank you for what you do.”

The staff was not only friendly and welcoming, but they went above and beyond to make my experience special. I picked out a postcard to send home, and the worker kindly offered to sign it for me in beautiful handwriting—then surprised me by adding a small, hand-drawn illustration that perfectly matched the Bar Harbor vibe. It was such a kind and personal gesture that made the moment feel really meaningful.

“Great souvenir shop! They had everything you could think of-including Maine Christmas ornaments! I was able to find several t-shirts, very reasonably priced ($12.99) and a really cool sweatshirt like pullover with zipper for ($37.88). They had jewelry, stuffed animals, and bagged sweets. Lots of variety and plenty of merchandise. If you're looking for a place to pick up memorabilia from your vacation trip, you should definitely stop here!”
