About Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina
Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina offers a clean and comfortable stay in the heart of Bar Harbor. Guests enjoy spacious rooms with beautiful views, particularly from the second floor overlooking Forest Island in Frenchman’s Bay. The hotel features a quaint restaurant with exceptional breakfast and dinner options, along with a spa that provides “unbelievable” massages. The lobby has a cozy chalet-like feel, complete with a fire and hot apple cider.
The location is perfect for exploring nearby shops and restaurants, all easily accessible by a short walk. Many guests appreciate the safety of the area and the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. While most reviews praise the excellent customer service and the general manager's accommodating nature, a few guests experienced inconsistencies at check-in and with housekeeping. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience at Harborside is positive, with many guests planning to return and highly recommending the hotel for its charm, views, and convenient location near Acadia National Park.
