The Acadia Country Store is a must-visit in Bar Harbor, filled with a little bit of everything. The shop offers a very impressive and big selection with plenty of variety. It is filled with all kinds of souvenirs, touristy gifts, and great little finds for all tastes. Items include food like fudge and candy, local-made jams, clothing with very nice shirt designs, plus kitchen items, mugs, rugs, kids’ options, and children’s books. There is a perfect mixture of merch focused on marine life and the outdoors. The store is fun to walk through to look at all the items for sale, with many fun and cute pieces. It is worth a walk through, and if you are in a rush, this is the one stop to recommend. The counter staff is always friendly and helpful. A point of disappointment for some is that the fudge shelf is not always open, and larger shirt sizes have an up-charge.
Great place to get all things Maine!! Shout out to Paige for running the bag I left behind at the store to the ferry ticket booth for me!! What wonderful customer service in a day and age that is hard to find! Now I can enjoy my Bar Harbor Tea thanks to her!

don’t go to other stores for your souvenirs and sweaters this one is way better. I regret buying the sweaters from the other shops FML.
