Thornhedge Inn is a cozy, antique bed and breakfast with a ton of quirk and charm, described as the best guesthouse. The well-maintained home is beautiful and spotless, with delightful, well-appointed, and comfy rooms. Guests felt so at home and had everything they wanted. The innkeepers and staff are awesome, superb, incredible, and extremely welcoming. They are knowledgeable hosts who know the area inside and out, full of great recommendations and helpful suggestions. Over a hearty breakfast, which is like fine dining, guests can hear incredible family and local history stories. The food receives high praise, including specific dishes like Blueberry French Toast and muffins. The location is perfect and rated 10/10, allowing for delightful strolls around Bar Harbor. The overall experience is wonderful, magical, and lovely, with guests highly recommending it and eager to return.

So would stay here again! Room was delightful. Andrew the inn keeper was superb! Breakfast was fine dining! Housekeeper was very responsive to requests. And of course the location made for delightful days and evenings strolling around Bar Harbor

All the good reviews on Thornhedge are well-earned. Best guesthouse, best innkeeper & host, comfiest rooms, best breakfast and best location! This would absolutely be our first choice if we ever make it back to Bar Harbor.

The location is excellent! Service was phenomenal! Andy does a wonderful job as the innkeeper. He was VERY helpful in providing hiking & restaurant recommendations!
