This is my absolute favorite store in Bar Harbor. Whenever I am here, I make sure I stop by to browse their incredible products and chat with the friendly staff. They always welcome all their customers with a smile ready to offer shopping assistance or just some good recommendations around town. Do not miss this spot the next time you’re in town!!

When I entered this business I noticed they do not allow food or beverages inside. This is common in Bar Harbor it seems and I have no issue with that policy. However, lead by example. The staff has no issue doing both while in front of customers so that seems a bit hypocritical. Past reviews are spot on about the male staff member (owner ?) who gives off the vibe of a bored HOA member. There are several stores in Bar Harbor that offer better items, better people and a better experience. Oh but they did get a mention in Downeast magazine so I assume their entitlement is from that.

If you shop at one store in Bar Harbor, it has to be Window Panes. It is incredibly well curated with beautiful linens, candles, kitchenwares and artisan crafts. I always find something to bring home as a memory of our vacation time in BH. The owners, Julie and Greg, are lovely. And just celebrated 30 years in business - congratulations! We will be back!

Love this store! I like buying more of an upscale souvenir and Window Panes has so many great options. Really unique gifts and local artists, which I appreciate.
The staff is super helpful! We gave them a theme and an idea of what we may be looking for and off the went helping us curate some gifts and purchases for ourself. Julie annd Greg, the owner's had just celebrated their 30th year in business the week we were there and we can see why they’ve been so successful.

The store has a lot of great items. I only wish the owners had as great of an attitude. The New England shield was in full effect towards customers trying to buy things.

Fun shop staffed by an unpleasant and curt older gentleman. I got the sense he was offended by my very existence. Nothing like the friendly and courteous staff at the shop across the street.

Rude would be putting it nicely. Very troubled owners. The male owner put his hands on my wife. To many places to shop to waste time here. Just read the reviews. Very anger people.

LOVE this store! I grew up in the area, but now live quite far away. When I come back to visit, I ALWAYS stop here. It's a great place for high quality, unique and creative items that feel like home. I've purchased quite a few things throughout the years and have more on my wishlist! Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

This was my favorite store in downtown Bar Harbor. They have so many different carefully curated items to choose from. I ended up taking a massive cutting board home and safe to say, it has surpassed my expectations of quality and durability.

At Christmas I picked out some lovely gifts. There was a mistake with one, and the staff was super helpful in grabbing the item and letting me exchange it quickly, as I had my baby with me. (Always anxiety provoking during the pandemic.) Looking forward to coming back!
