I worked at Brackett’s Market for a few months and my experience wasn’t quite how I thought it would be. To keep it short, an employee had made two other employees uncomfortable, I brought it to Macey’s attention and because there was “no proof” of it happening with the first employee they did nothing about it except cut my hours completely from the 30’s to 10 hours. The kid got off scotch free, also BEST FRIENDS with the supervisor so he is protected at all costs. They talked shit about me behind my back, which I let it go, until I came into work one day and was pulled aside by someone in the meat dept that had overheard Macey openly discussing with someone else personal information about myself. When they approached me about it, it was fine. They’re a good person, but when I brought it to Maceys attention she had nothing to say. Funny. After I had left Brackett’s, it was brought to my attention that a few people supervisors included were continuing to talk shit about me and the things going on in my life. What really changed my mind about Brackett’s is the management, and how poor situations are handled. I will NEVER recommend a job to anyone at this place. The front end needs some serious cleaning. 🧹

Poor customer service. An employee named Eric cut me in line to buy cigarettes and beer. The staff was friendly to co workers but not to people shopping..

OWNER IS THE ""MEANEST WITCH"" I EVER MET-DID A CHARACTER ASSASINATION ON ME-I COULD SUE HER FOR HER LIES. 2 CASHIERS RUDE. 1 GOT NASTY AT ME WHEN SHE OVERCHARGED. ONE FALSELY ACCUSED ME OF BEING RUDE WHEN SHE WAS THE RUDE ONE. FEEL SORRY FOR THE YOUNGER NICE CASHIERS PUTTING UP WITH THIS WITCH FROM HELL!!!

Normally I would give 5 stars, i absolutelylove shopping at Brackett's, normally...but last few visits, the cashier really seems to hate her job. Just acted like checking out my groceries was interrupting her day. I took the cues and only spoke to her when I needed to...and stayed friendly, saying have a nice day...well no nice day back...oh well...is what it is I guess.

I do my best to support local but twice in the last couple weeks I’ve walked in at 6;45 to lights being turned off, produce put away and irritation from staff, we’re all tired and want to go home that’s why we come here for the local convenience. Please reconsider closing procedures, feels of putting to the customer paying a little extra to support you.

Brackett's Market not only offers a fine variety of goods, but also has an old fashioned feel that provides an excellent throwback shopping experience. Conveniently located in historic downtown Bath, Brackett's also supports the local community through various fundraisers, events and support. I'm happy to spend my money at Brackett's and every town needs one!

We often go to Bracketts for convenience. Just this week, I two had very uncomfortable experiences with a young woman who acted as if she really didn't want to be there. In the first, she was just unpleasant and not helpful at checkout. In the second, she had no eye contact with me and when I had completed my purchase, she just looked away and made no effort to bag my groceries. It was awkward! Perhaps she is unhappy with her job?

They always have the elusive NJ pork roll (taylor ham) here AND its decently priced!!!! very cute shop 5 out of 5 stars no other comments hehehe

I expect prices to be a little higher due to its location in downtown Bath, but the prices were significantly higher than my local grocery store in Brunswick. Thankfully, I just needed to grab a couple of items.One item I bought was supposed to be on sale, but it didn't ring up properly, so I had to show the sign to the customer service cashier to get a refund for the difference ($2.00 difference in price).Definitely double-check the prices as you get rung up.

I buy my Christmas Angus Standing Rib roast from here. The butcher's are extraordinary. The meat at this store is wonderful.

Just left the market on a Saturday at 11:30 am. I had a grocery cart full of food and there were two registers open with approx 8 customers in each line!! I mean really, how hard is it to hire an extra cashier on a Saturday to check out folks so they can get on with their day??? Very disappointed customer!!
