A stay at the Kennebec Inn is the ultimate B&B experience. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculately clean - and traditionally furnished. Bed mattresses are firm and extremely comfortable. The hostess, Rachel, a certified baker, presents an elegant breakfast. Large, refreshing, and clean Olympic pool. The Inn is VERY conveniently located to Bath (short walk), other nearby towns (Brunswick, Wiscasset), and beaches (Reid and Popham State Parks). As a Maine vacationer, what more could you ask for?

The Kennebec Inn along w/ Rachel the owner is absolutely precious. The B&B bar has been set for what we are looking for in a stay. Chocolate chip cookies, amazing breakfasts, wonderful host along w/ clean and comfortable. We will always stay at the Kennebec Inn when visiting this area.

We stayed at the Kennebec during the quiet season and had a very comfortable stay in the America’s Cup room in the carriage house. Rachel is a wonderful host, impeccable housekeeper, and a terrific resource for things to do and see in town and surrounding areas. We enjoyed starting each day with a made-to-order, hot breakfast, and even made friends with the innkeeper’s sweet and docile collie, Johnny. Downtown is an easy walk from the Inn. We have already booked our next stay at the Inn and look forward to returning.

My husband and I stayed here on the first night of our road-trip up the coast of Maine. Our room was beautiful, incredibly clean and quite large. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, we can’t stop talking about the blueberry turnovers. Our only regret was staying here the first night of our trip and having it as the gold standard to compare all the other places we stayed. We had such a great experience at the Kennebec Inn!

Wonderful breakfasts and a great stay! Very conscious of social distancing/coronavirus precautions.

It must be tough to run a B&B in the midst of a pandemic but Rachel has managed to keep the welcoming feel while still insuring the health and safety of the guests. The rooms are kept spotless. The beds extremely comfortable. The socially distanced breakfasts made the entire trip worthwhile--the omelets, fresh fruit and French inspired pastries were a wonderful surprise. The only quibble would be the Wi-Fi which is a little spotty. If you call Rachel in advance she will make every effort to accommodate any special requests.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Kennebec Inn. Our room was very comfortable, with plenty of space for moving about as well as privacy. Our room also had a large closet area with room for dressing, as well as a small refrigerator with daily bottled water. We felt safe, and the location was excellent for access to the highway, or the town of Bath.Wish we had been staying long enough to take advantage of the beautiful pool and grounds.Rachel went above and beyond to accommodate us, the breakfasts were delicious, homemade, and of large portions. Coffee and homemade granola was readily available in the morning for those that enjoy a first cup before breakfast. ☕️The amenities were perfect, with t.v, in room, books, fireplace and sitting area easily accessible. We especially enjoyed the homemade cookies and apples. ??as a bonus on our return from our day out.Rachel is a delightful welcoming host, ? her suggestions and guidance for our stay were invaluable. We enjoyed Whale watching? in Boothbay Harbor, and visits to Brunswick, Freeport, and Camden . Our trip was short but full, and made so easy with our stay at Kennebec Inn. Hope to return soon.Thank you Rachel (and John ??)

My husband and I took a trip to Maine for our 5 year anniversary and one of the places we stayed was Kennebec Inn B&B. Rachel was such a wonderful and friendly hostess. Breakfast was delicious, my favorite was Rachel's homemade blueberry turnovers!! Our room was very nice as well, it was clean, spacious and had everything we needed! Rachel was nice enough to give us a brief rundown of where everything was located in downtown Bath, as well as some options for our drive back to Portland. Thank you so much Rachel for your wonderful hospitality!!

We traveled for 3 weeks in New England this summer and stayed at 5 different B&Bs. Kennebec Inn was head and shoulders above the others we visited. Rachel made a warm, welcoming, informative innkeeper and her rooms were very clean, airy, and comfortable. The location was also convenient to town, and Rachel made a number of suggestions to enhance our experience in the Bath and Boothbay areas. She gets an A+ in my book and you will not regret a visit with her!
