Great selection of beer and local sausage. Stopped in on the way to Acadia this summer. Cute town. Lots of soup options in the winter.

Although we're in Augusta as often as we can we stop in when Belfast. Co-op employees are great, stock although a tiny store (at the moment) is excellent. The only drawback is the construction, and finding a parking spot; which is a tiny headache in comparison to daily life. Can't wait to see the finished store in 2024!!

Typical ‘co-op,’ but at least with usually good quality items available.Lot’s of local items in produce and grocery. It was a revelation to me not being able to share my membership within my own household. The efforts to build a new cafe area would also seem better spent towards increasing the regular shopping area as during crowded times (75%+ of the time) it can be difficult to shop due to the amount of people/lack of available space.I wish you would bring back my favorite salsa brand!: xo’chitl. I can never eat from the prepared foods section: besides being astronomically overpriced ($8+ for CHICKPEA SALAD!!!) there is very little to eat if you avoid common allergens like soy, gluten and dairy. Staff is very busy but warms up over time.If you need help they will certainly assist! If you want local items though you’re really better off visiting a farmer’s market. Many of the same local brands but fresher and cheaper. Sometimes that cannot be done though and depending on what you buy the co-op can also be very reasonably priced and has regular sales.

Very nice little store. So many specialty items. I was very impressed with the selection they carry. Only complaint, it's a bit pricey but that comes with those types of items.

Thank you for having fresh bread and fresh food on a day when most of the town is closed. I am sure it isn't easy to accomplish. Gem of a shop.

The best time I have found to go to the co-op is Friday morning - everything amazing is restocked. They have an incredible assortment of local organic breads, eggs, a plethora of local dairies, and amazing fruits and veggies. The staff is super helpful and friendly - it feels like we are all on the same team in there.

The Belfast co-op is a fantastic experience all around. Wonderful selection and everyone working there has always been friendly and welcoming. It is a must visit if you're passing through Belfast or live here!

We had both a good and bad experience! The cashier was rude with a begrudging attitude, and annoyed to answer any question or help fix a price that rang up incorrectly. Honestly, the whole energy of many people there made us feel like a burden. The inside structure pretty much matches the outside. There is a great selection of local products, from seeds and coffees to dairy and meat. Unfortunately, it is all very overpriced with limited options for those not on EBT. We tried a few different new items-- the Crystalized Ginger, Dried Dates, and local Maple Yogurt were some of my favorites. Very delicious!! There are also some organic items which are hard to find in many typical stores.
