Colby and his team are knowledgeable and courteous. They have a wide selection and a great bargain basement as well. I was able to order the shoes I wanted that were not on the shelf. I love shopping at this locally owned store that is very involved in supporting the community. Thank you!

Boyfriend needed a new pair of shoes while traveling b/c his old pair died, this was a convenient store with a nice selection & friendly staff. I noticed some good sales on well known brand/summer sandals.

After shopping in Bangor and other locations, we would have to say that the service, prices and selection at Colburn Shoe Store top any other shoe store.
We will drive to Belfast to purchase shoes before we look anywhere else. Great selection, and we enjoyed the personalized service and small-town feel of this store.

This is an amazing local shoe Store. The service is wonderful and friendly. The stock is good and anything they don't have they will order quickly. If your lucky in the basement sales room you can really find some amazing deals.

Not only is this the oldest shoe store in America I wholeheartedly believe it is the best shoe store in America. The people that work there are always so pleasant and helpful and you feel like you're going to a friend's establishment when you walk in. They know what they're doing they've got quality products. And you will always find something extra.

When looking for comfortable shoes for work the salesman told me it was probably a foot issue rather than a shoe issue. Even though it would possibly make a sale loss he didn’t try to convince me shoes would make a diff. I did get a new pair but he didn’t push them into me. Very thoughtful
