I was hesitant to leave a review because I don’t really want to share her. But I’ve been going to Kim for well over a year now, and at some point, you just have to admit you’ve found the one.
She’s always been gracious, steady, thoughtful, and never pushy. Lately, I realized I might be drifting into hair color blindness (it’s a thing), so I handed her the reins. Full freedom to do what she thought was best. She sees things I can’t, because this is what she does. And once you trust that, everything gets easier.
Kim’s not just good, she has vision. If you’re lucky enough to sit in her chair, ask her what she sees. You’ll probably walk out wondering why you didn’t ask sooner.
P.S. Kim’s scalp massages are the kind of luxury you don’t realize you needed until you’re halfway to sleep. 😉

Every time I leave the Glow Salon, I feel fabulous. I just had the best nail experience with Maren, and whenever Kim does my hair color and cut, I leave with exactly what I wanted. Best salon in Maine!

Amazing experience! Such a cute and well run salon! They treat you so well and make sure you’re happy! I used to go to T&T Nails to get my acrylic set and I’m so happy that I found out glow does acrylics too! I felt much more welcomed and respected, I will be going to them for all my salon needs! They did an amazing job!! Recommend anyone in the area to check them out!

Great haircut and one of the best pedicures I've had in Maine. The new nail tech is very top notch and friendly. The only gig I have for this place is I got a manicure and they did not have a nail drying device. I kind of messed it up right away after leaving because I needed to use the restroom...Murphys Law. I was a little sad about that. They offer gel And regular polish. I like that. My eyebrows were decent after the wax. I'm very particular about my eyebrows. I've yet to find a local place where I don't need to go in and pluck afterwards. The best part is they have weekend openings and times to cut my hair after my work hours during the week. That's why I switched to Glow. Much better hours for working women.

Girlfriend went in for a shoulder length cut, had reference pictures and said that verbally. Received essentially a barbers cut for $60. She’s too nice to leave a bad review but I’m not. It is a great haircut but not at all what she wanted and quite frankly could’ve been done for 25$ at a barber shop.

Got my nails done on Wednesday January 17th. The lady that did them was nice but continuously sniffled throughout the appointment, as if she had a cold. She did spend so much care shaping my nails and cutting the cuticles back which was much appreciated. However, by the next morning three of my nails had big bubbles distorting the mail shape.

Absolute best salon around! I travel full-time throughout the US and out of everywhere I've been in the country, this is by far the best salon I've been to. I even chose Glow Salon to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, nobody else I'd trust for this special day. They also did updos for all of my bridesmaids and my mother in law. All were perfect. If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would.

I went in two days ago for a haircut and the place is wonderful. Great service and accommodations, and my hair looks fantastic. I really wish I remembered the stylists name because I would love to see her again. She helped me figure out my hair and was kind when I roughly explained what I wanted. I have short fine hair that can be difficult to deal with. Savana listened to my concerns and gave me a fabulous precision cut. It was an enjoyable and happy experience in a calm peaceful environment.
