I see a lot of negative reviews. If a place is understaffed this can certainly happen. My 5-stars review is for Roberta who works the drive-up window in Belfast. She is always friendly, efficient, and acts like a human being, a rarity in these tense times. Cheers to her and thank you.

Pharmacy in Belfast is slowly as heck and there are a few that work there that are lazy about keeping up with filling scripts

The pharmacy is by far one of the worst pharmacies I've ever experienced. They keep people on hold for 30 to 40 minutes. The lines in the store as well as outside of the store are incredibly long. Even though they have the ability to be able to open up more lanes, I'm sure they'll blame it on nobody wanting to work. Of note ,they had this problem before covid.

I got my flu ? shot there today and I just made the appointment yesterday! Great customer service. I was in and out in 15 minutes!

The pharmacy has an attitude of scr—the customer which I believe starts at the top and rolls down. They speak as if they are doing you a favor, forgetting that if not for the customers - they wouldn’t be working there. Even my doctor’s office refers Belfast Drug across the street.

The pharmacy at this location is all over the place. Unreliable in communicating accurate fill times. The staff I encounter are rude and very unhelpful. At least pretend that you want to help.

Seeing all the negative reviews almost all because of wait times and under staffing. Like every business in America over the past couple years that is not the fault of the store. I have shopped here for a few years now and the place has drastically improved. Management has changed and the store is staffed. It looks great and the customer service is 100x better! I love the store, the pharmacy and they offer great deals and prices!

I am not sure who I should be evaluationg but I called what I thought was the pharmacy at this store (it was their posted number) only to find out after traveling 50 miles for a covid shot they don't take walk ins. This is after being told on the phone they had openings and as long as we got there by 6:30 they could give us one, We had no idea we were not talking to the store pharmacy but a call center which obviously had no idea of this stores policy. Nevertheless, there was no one waiting for a shot or even anyone picking up a perscription but oh no they would not give my husband and I a shot even though there was someone who could give it and no one behind the counter was doing anything.I am sure it would have taken less time to just administer the shot than to spend 15 minutes explaining to me how they can't controll what the call center tells people. Well, maybe they should answer their phone and not have a call center do it. Needless to say this experience has told me to take my business elsewhere.

I'm giving it a one star because I can't go any lower. This is a terrible pharmacy. They make you wait forever. I needed my medication today due to a kidney infection and was on hold for 2 hours. We finally decided to drive there and found out that it was closed due to unforseen circumstances but they couldn't update that on the phone do I wasted time and gas.This is not the first time stuff like this happened. They have terrible customer service too.

Seriously understaffed- Walgreens is making a lot of money off the Belfast community yet the lines are insane and customers are all complaining. An absolute nightmare going in to pick up a prescription. Walgreens needs to get its act together.

Over an hour in line just to drop off a prescription, need to have some sort of window to sort through people getting a shot/booster vs someone just simply dropping off a prescription that takes 30 seconds

I would like to give the pharmacy at this store zero stars. I am finished giving them any further chances - I am not sure why it's taken me so long! Scheduled an appointment online for a flu shot there at 9 am today. Dutifully completed their extensive forms and showed up to the typical long line to get to the pharmacy, with no separate place to check in for a vaccine other than the same line as picking up prescriptions. The pharmacist who was doing vaccinations walked by at one point and I asked whether there was any mechanism for honoring appointments. When she said, "no, we don't really take appointments and I have 10 walk-ins waiting for shots" it told me all I needed to know. Why allow people to make appointments you just ignore???? I walked out and across the street to Belfast Drug Company, where I had my shot from a friendly pharmacist and was out in less than 10 minutes. Prescriptions will be transferred to this store that actually cares. Bye-bye Walgreens!

Something wrong with this Walgreens pharmacy. Pharmacy employees are always chatting to each other no matter how long the line is. I keep going in or driving through since my prescriptions were all transferred there and during the day there seems to be a weird power game going on. There is no urgency and it’s like the customers are a bother and they’ll get to them when and if they choose. I only say this after over a dozen trips there this past summer. It wasn’t just a bad day. It’s consistent. I think they also may have turned their phone off because for days now it’s says there are 3 people on hold ahead of you every time you call the pharmacy to find out why they have made the same mistake they made the previous 2 months that you thought you had worked out and they had already apologized for. Yet when you go in and stand in line for 20 plus minutes and come to the counter finally and wait another 10 minutes while they try to find the prescription you were notified to pick up, no one is on the phone and no phone is ringing or beeping or anything. Obviously no one is answering the phone and it looks like they have turned the ringer off for customer calls. There’s something very wrong here.

Too much socializing, one window open. Handling COVID shots , people picking up prescriptions. Girl handling outside window has know one at window and can’t help with the very long line. They need a little more organization. It just a shame it has to be so bad behind the counter.
