If I could leave less than one star I would. The wait time at the drive through can be an hour long and going inside is just as bad especially when one technician is constantly in front of the doors smoking cigarettes. What finally made me write this review is when my Insurance was shut off they gave my prescription to my daughter without telling her it was going to cost over $350.00 and then refused to take it back even though she immediately returned to the window.

It's a huge chain pharmacy. Expect mediocrity. Good selection, most of the time, for most things. Mostly courteous employees, and considering who they work for, sometimes completely understandable when they might be less so. Like the one in Bucksport, somewhat poorly managed, but this one has better stock.

I see a lot of negative reviews. If a place is understaffed this can certainly happen. My 5-stars review is for Roberta who works the drive-up window in Belfast. She is always friendly, efficient, and acts like a human being, a rarity in these tense times. Cheers to her and thank you.

What should only take 5 minutes takes 30 in drive thru pharmacy. Attendant won't even help right away they are doing other things. Needs more people.

Drive through way way too slow.. for a 15 second nose swab or grabbing a prescription, sat in line 40+ minutes... to swab my nose for a few seconds. I understand it being busy but the service is extremely slow and it's not ok. People have places to be. Very irritated.

Waiting 45 minutes for a prescription is unconstitutional at Walgreens, it is suppose to be a fast pick up. If we wanted to wait 45 minutes, we could go inside. No reason Managment can’t get more help

I would like to give the pharmacy at this store zero stars. I am finished giving them any further chances - I am not sure why it's taken me so long! Scheduled an appointment online for a flu shot there at 9 am today. Dutifully completed their extensive forms and showed up to the typical long line to get to the pharmacy, with no separate place to check in for a vaccine other than the same line as picking up prescriptions. The pharmacist who was doing vaccinations walked by at one point and I asked whether there was any mechanism for honoring appointments. When she said, "no, we don't really take appointments and I have 10 walk-ins waiting for shots" it told me all I needed to know. Why allow people to make appointments you just ignore???? I walked out and across the street to Belfast Drug Company, where I had my shot from a friendly pharmacist and was out in less than 10 minutes. Prescriptions will be transferred to this store that actually cares. Bye-bye Walgreens!

asked to speak to a person, nope had to use Walgreens automation. 15 min. of not being able to answer my question the automation put me through to a person. Walgreens is the last place I'll do business from here on out.

This store continues to disappoint every time. I'm a loyal customer of Walgreens, but this store has management and staff training issues. I have never encountered this level of consistent poor customer service. Just today after making an appointment for a vaccine online using Walgreens online appointment tool, I arrived on time for my appointment but I was told first their records didn't show my appointment, and then the story changed to "we don't really take appointments". I told them I had an appointment confirmation number specifying the time, the place (this store) and all my contact information. To no avail, I wasted one hour, and left the store unable to get the vaccine. Even if you are a loyal customer of Walgreens, you might want to skip their store in Belfast. You'll be better going to another pharmacy in the area.

Have been trying for three days to get a real live person at this store to answer a question if they do or do not have a medication I need. I do not wish to travel that distance for nothing (I am old so it is a struggle to get around). The next closest Walgreen did not have it. I have called at least 4 times, every time I get a recorded please hold message, have been on hold over an hour each time and have yet to reach a real live person, I called during regular business hours. It would be more courteous if the customer got a busy signal or a message saying they are not accepting calls. Fortunately I found a major supermarket pharmacy that had what I need so I won't waste my time with Walgreen any more..
