This isn't your 1970s roadside motel. It is modern, clean, easy access, dog friendly and well priced. Maid service is by request.
I like the ease of getting my key, parking the car by the door and unloading right into my room. I'll be back on my trip to Belfast. Thanks

The room was very nice, no complaints there, but at the high price point being charged, a few breakfast items should have been available. The TV was too small for the room and now that TVs are so cheap, no excuse not to update. We were only there for one night, passing through. I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay, but that's just me.

Very nice basic motel near everything in Belfast. Very clean, nice beds and pillows, clean bathroom, nice strong hot shower, good WIFI, and quiet! What more can you ask for at a very reasonable price !
Also a short walk to one of the best quintessential lobster shacks in Maine, Young’s Lobster Pound.

Needed a place to stay for 1 night. This place was perfect. Priced right, clean room, wood floors instead of rug-very nice! No frills, but very nice

We had a great stay at the Yankee Clipper. Stayed one night on our week-long Nee England roadtrip.
The place is lovely. Clean rooms, friendly service, great location (just a few minutes to “downtown” Belfast and across the street from Perry’s Nut House).
All previous reviews were accurate. Glad we stayed, would stay again and definitely recommend.
(Get the toffee costed cashews from Perry’s and pick up an oatmeal cream pie, too.)

Simple, clean, comfortable
Very pleasant and helpful innkeeper
Plenty of room, very comfortable mattress, high quality toiletries. Some traffic noise from the highway but not enough to interfere with a good night's sleep.

Staff was very pleasant along with the room. It might have nice to have bathrobes available. Certainly convenient to downtown Belfast and walking distance to the railtral. The “Nut House” across the street was a very worthy visit. The people in general are very friendly and cordial.

Visiting family in the Belfast area and booked a room at the Yankee Clipper for one night. Perfect for what we needed, very clean, comfortable beds, nice shower and a fridge/microwave to make life easier. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

It's clean and quiet and was right on Main highway we needed. Not queen beds though.. so a little tight but we'll worth it. Excellent price as well.

I stopped here on my trip along the coast because of the positive reviews, but I must admit my expectations were still low because of how affordable it was. Well, the reviews were correct (and, yes, it is very affordable). The room was immaculate, service was genuine and friendly (Hi, Frank), the atmosphere was quiet, and, as a surprise bonus, the motel is located directly across the street and a very short walk from a real, local lobster pound. Do yourself a favor, and do not assume that this place is a dive because it is not part of a chain and because it is affordable.
