Sport Thoma is a wonderful family-run sporting goods store in Bethel. It is a great place to rent skis or snowboards or to purchase top-shelf equipment for skiing and other outdoor needs. The shop is well-stocked with a surprisingly good selection, including many options for every item, a huge wall of ski boots, and a mind-boggling array of skis, poles, helmets, goggles, outerwear, and apres ski apparel. They have the best and newest equipment available year after year, including a very high-end robotic ski sharpening and waxing machine. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, nice, friendly, down-to-earth, and super patient. They provide solid advice and are not pushy, genuinely wanting to help whether for performance boot fitting, simple purchases, or repairs, which they complete super fast. They are professional fit gurus who can help just about everyone, offering incredible attention and care. The experience is always great, like dropping by a friend's house, with a special community vibe. They are invested in supporting the Bethel area and getting folks outside, offering insider tips and maintaining local trails. With fair prices and tons of inventory even during busy times, Sport Thoma is an awesome place where you feel connected to something bigger.
Great tent sale some nice gear for half off, nothing like buying snow gear in July but couldn't beat the price.
