So i made an appt 1 month ago. To service the boiler they installed and have serviced for years. I got a call 1 day before the appt. A month later mind you. We aren't coming tomorrow for your service call. We won't service your boiler you don't by propane from us!!! Pretty unprofessional I'd say. I don't buy propane because my home ran out multiple times when on auto refill. The propane service is nothing I want...guess I don't want the burner service now either.

I decided to switch from my current propane company to Beaupre Fuels in November 2022 and waited until January 24, 2023 to have one of their tanks delivered. I decided to go with a locally owned, family run business, and was willing to pay a bit extra per gallon to do so. I was surprised to receive a $60 “tank placement” charge, which was never discussed during previous discussions on pricing, and a service that nearly every other company offers free of charge. When calling to inquire on the charge, I was told they would be “more then happy to come pick up the tank”, or offer a $30 credit on my account. At that time, Dead River was .44 cents cheaper, per gallon, which I clearly stated I was willing to pay to stay with a locally owned company, but was again told the $30 credit was the best they could offer, or they could come pick up their tank, cancel my service, and give a full refund. I waited two months for a tank placement to be a new customer, and they had a technician there within the hour picking up their tank. For a company who wants to provide their customers the “highest quality service possible”, I’m still dumbfounded they would rather choose to refund only if service was canceled, rather than to keep a new customer, all over a charge that was never disclosed before their service took place.

They Use old tanks Refuses to replace parts, High prices Sorry but we moved on and had brand new tanks installed for free and cheaper fuel cost After 20yrs of business you expect better

I just switched to Beaupre Fuels this year and as a new customer I could not be happier that I made the switch to Beaupre Fuels. I live in Arundel & most companies when I would place my order in the past would not deliver until the following week but that has not been the case since I switched. I placed my order this morning thinking it would be here within the next couple days or early next week and to my surprise they delivered it in the same day! I can't thank you enough as I'm sure this is a nonstop season for you but it's the little things that really stand out. Thank you for such great service!

We have been customers of Beaupre for over 10 years and they continue to impress us. I called this morning and requested a propane fill up, said it wasn't an emergency, but they still came today anyway. That just shows their ongoing proactive response and the professionalism they have always shown us. We truly appreciate their great customer focused services. Thanks, Beaupre Fuels!

I'm generally not someone who will "review" a business. Whether it's a restaurant, car dealer, grocery store, etc, I just don't like reviews and I don't like surveys. This is an exception as I feel that since there is so much competition regarding the heating oil business and negative media coverage of some of them.
We recently purchased a home in mid-November in the area that Beaupre Fuels services. At the time of initiating service with them, I was previously unaware of their existence. Having a home prior in the Greater Portland area, we were using a different supplier - a larger outfit with offices throughout the state - for oil and I called them first. Well.. I made several call attempts. Having left several messages with their "answering service" and not having received a phone call back, I moved on. Other suppliers would not answer phone calls nor return messages left either.
The tip to call Beaupre Fuels came from personal friends and local Biddeford business owners. A call was placed by my significant other and all of her questions were answered. Being new to the area and wanting to establish a relationship with a company was a important to us and our comfort level was high. Having discussed this that evening, I called Beaupre the following day. Not only did I get a live human on the other end, they were also unbelievably pleasant.
The order was placed and the phone call ended with the understanding that the delivery would take place the following day or the ensuing days that followed. I felt that was certainly a more than acceptable time frame. But I was beyond pleased to come home THAT EVENING and find an invoice folded up and wedged between the front door and frame.
Though they don't appear to have much of a 'web presence', they are worth doing business with and if you currently do business elsewhere, a smaller local business is a more deserving outfit of your hard earned money. We look forward to this relationship. As a result, I am more than likely going to change over propane service for Beaupre Fuels to be our provider when spring arrives.
