“Had a chance to stop in to La La Luna yesterday and am glad I did. There was so much to choose from in the shop and I felt that the pricing of the merchandise is very fair-not always the case when you visit a town that is also a tourist destination. I ended up with much more than I expected (the owner must have a great eye for merchandise selection) which was a pleasant surprise and I will enjoy it all. The woman running the shop yesterday, Katie was fantastic. Excellent customer service-very laid back to let you explore with any 'push.'”

“LOVED this store! We have a corgi and they have literally corgi everything! Corgi shirts, hats, sweatshirts, coasters, magnets, signs, ornaments, cards, mugs, tumblers, socks, and so much more! They also have a bunch of other dog breeds like Goldens, king Charles cavs, pugs, frenchies, German shepards, poodles, etc. The owner steph was also super friendly and helpful! I lost my purse at one of the stores and she was kind enough to help me look around for it! If you are obsessed with your dog, definitely go here!”

“My wife has a favorite KPT hat she bought years ago at the Green Tangerine, it’s well worn and she was hoping to replace it this summer on a trip to Maine but we didn’t end up making it to KPT this year.
Caroline went above and beyond to help me replace her favorite hat for the holidays, without a trip to Maine needed! She helped me over the phone and was just so nice about the logistics of me being located in Florida.
Now, we will be reminded of our favorite town and its amazing residence every time she wears it.

“Only went in there for glasses, but I browsed around as well. The store was well maintained, the staff was friendly and greeted me right at the door, and the styles and selections for clothing were great. One of my favorite stores to shop.”
“I had a funny experience here with my son fairly recently. We always go in to Spencers for t shirts when we’re at the mall. We don’t venture past the t shirt walls, but would possibly consider doing so if it wasn’t so overcrowded feeling in the store. Other than the space issue, the shirt selection is good and I can never pass up a buy 4 get 1 free sale.We went in around the holidays and got some shirts. When we got to the counter the person waiting on us made a joke about judging our taste in music based on what t shirts we were buying. My son and I are both Nirvana fans and had each gotten a new shirt. Our cashier commented “ah Nirvana…name 3 songs” I came up with some of the lesser known titles I knew to prove that I wasn’t a poser. This seemed to satisfy and the transaction went smoothly. On our way out our amateur band critic of a Spencer’s associate commented in seeming approval of the “Kendrick Lamar” hoodie my son was wearing. We didn’t have the heart to tell them that it was actually Jimi Hendrix hahahaha”

“The only store in Maine that has formula 1 merchandise stocked. Was so happy to see the Red Bull tshirts and hoodies. The store associates were professional and helpful. It’s a nice small store but has a little bit of everything which makes it stand out. Will definitely be back for more.”

“I didn't even know this store had switched over to a "factory store". The prices were all 50 -60% off and there were a lot of really nice pieces. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in to see that they were still carrying nice things. They carry women's, men's and childrens clothes. (Not a big selection of children's clothes)”

Unfortunately I forgot his name, But the staff needs to be more customer friendly, they never welcomed you to the store ask if you find what you're looking for etc. I see the manager Sam making the effort. “I love this store. I don't know what it is about this store, but I feel like a little kid walking into a toy store when I come here. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it's because the staff always greet and recognize you every time you walk in. Or maybe it's because there's always tons of items stocked inside waiting to be bought. The only thing I would say about going here is items can sometimes be VERY pricey. So just remember to bring some cash whenever you feel like coming here. Other then that, this store is a excellent place to shop and always a great place to be a part of!”
“The place I get the majority of my wardrobe, but it can definitely be a hit or miss with what you find, and the prices used to be more reasonable. Definitely better than the mall or Goodwill.
Kadie is an amazing employee though, she definitely cares about her job and people. Whatever she’s making, it’s not enough. She makes Plato’s Closet much better!”
