“LOVED this store! We have a corgi and they have literally corgi everything! Corgi shirts, hats, sweatshirts, coasters, magnets, signs, ornaments, cards, mugs, tumblers, socks, and so much more! They also have a bunch of other dog breeds like Goldens, king Charles cavs, pugs, frenchies, German shepards, poodles, etc. The owner steph was also super friendly and helpful! I lost my purse at one of the stores and she was kind enough to help me look around for it! If you are obsessed with your dog, definitely go here!”

“This is a cute little shop with a little bit of everything for everyone. It has jewelry, hats, toys, games, puzzles, and much, much more. The owner is very talented because she creates most of the jewelry and sewing items herself. This is a must see shop to see when you are in Kennebunk.”
“Another trip to Kennebunkport, another visit to the Whimsey Shop. Their glassware and pottery are gallery quality. We also liked their clutch handbags, lamps, and whimsical collectibles. They had a nice variety of Easter collectibles as well (pottery eggs and rabbits, carved wooden rabbits that can be lit up from within).”
“Fast and friendly service. I went in to look for a Maine themed souvenir for some visitors from Japan. After seeing me with a puzzled look on my face, an employee asked what help I needed and directed me to the proper display.”
“Stopped in needing directions, and Mark provided them. The next day I stopped in to pick up some gift items. He remembered me and we talked for probably half an hour as he filled me in on local history. As I left, he shook my hand and thanked me for coming back, and told me I now have a friend in Kennebunkport. Great shop, great owner, great products!”
“Eliza was SO amazing and helpful placing a phone order!! We missed the chance to buy some items here when we stopped thru a few years ago, so I managed or order by calling the shop. Some items I wanted were sold out, but Eliza found other options. They shipped the products immediately and I got them right away in Wisconsin. “The Abacus Gallery is a gift shop located in Dock Square that specializes in handcrafted goods. Some of my favorite items were the wave serving trays, wooden and stained glass mirrors, stained glass shell panels, fused glass coasters, phone holders, and sushi trays, dory bowls, duck umbrellas, and inspirational quote art. A family member purchased a wooden mirror!”
“Adorable little store in the heart of Kennebunkport. The manager and her daughter are personable, accommodating, and most importantly, kind. I would definitely recommend stopping in the store if you are into crafty trinkets, little pieces of "Maine/New England culture," and hardworking owners that are naturally gifted in customer service!”
“I love this store and have visited many times over the years! This year however, I walk with a walker and it is wide as I am. I found it very difficult maneuvering down the aisles. Each one narrowed at one end. My walker would get wedged on displays and I finally had to give up, get help from another customer to unwedge the walker so I could just leave the building. So sad because I love going through this store and seeing all their merchandise! I did end up sending my friend in to pick up what I wanted to buy, so I still shopped, but it would have been nice to be able to do it myself.”
