I used to enjoy shopping here several years ago, but the recent changes have all soured my opinion. I know scalpers are rampant these days, but there's no reason an LGS should become one too. Expect to pay three to five times over MSRP on several things if you shop here, truly cannot recommend this business anymore when other shops exist and offer events and gaming space as well.

Reached out to confirm the language of a product, after answering my question the cost of the item and it’s related product all nearly doubled, if you have the cash to be scalped feel free to shop here. Before and after screenshots of the price increases, increases that are also over market price.

Online hours are dated, wasted my time driving here as they aren't open. Glad I saw another review depicting a bad interaction after calling. Saved myself a headache

Sent quickly after ordered, packaged well for shipping, game brand new and unopened as advertised. Shipping cost might have been a little high but worth it to get it so quickly and in perfect condition. Easy 5 stars.

Came during open hours and the door was closed. Politely called and asked if they were open, guy said “yeah why”and I said “oh okay just curious because your door was closed” he said “yeah that’s why there’s a sign on the door”
Proceeded to stand there looking annoyed when he opened the door. Weirdo

Great selection for the downsized shop. I really liked their wide selection of Pokemon products especially some of the older generation stuff. Came from NJ and heard great things about the shop. Manager was great and a pleasure to talk to. Hope to make it back.

My partner and I walked into the game shop impressed with the selection and immediately found what we were looking for. Unfortunately, the only salesperson was on the phone the entire time we were in there. Not only were we not acknowledged (we were the only 2 customers in there) but he was loudly discussing right wing conspiracy theories and made some bigoted comments. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and bizarre experience and not at all the kind of place I want to support. There are other shops in Standish, Westbrook, Portland, etc. if you're in the market for a new game shop...

A wonderful store that has the largest selection of cards. Boardgames. And minis that i have seen up here with amazing staff and a great enviroment to stay and chat in, iv lost many hours just hanging out and chatting here

wouldn’t shop here or buy any products, asked about an MTG product and the owner said he’d let me know what they had and the prices, the owner never contacted me until i reached out again, upon checking their website again the owner bumped the product up $30 a piece, its a shame more and more shops continue to be greedy in 2024, buying for distribution prices and selling above market price, would give them 0 stars if i could

Great selection, but now online only. When I stopped in recently owner said the change was due to theft issues. Pics above are all from prior to the changeover. What a bummer, would be nice to have a LGS to browse. Sadly if this place has switched to a predominantly online store, there are other options that are cheaper and have bigger selection & better service.Hopefully they will reopen as an in-person shop at some point
