When you spend a lot of money on a custom frame (and frames if you keep coming back, like I’ve done), and Michaels installs a non standard hanging system each time, called a “no wire hanging system,” you end up needing to replace the plastic hanging pegs that go into the wall, when you move, or just move the picture. They don’t re-attach well, or at all, for a second use. Just the little white pegs are probably pretty cheap when purchased in bulk by Michaels. Previously, when I’d moved a Michaels custom framed picture to a new location, that I’d had framed at the Scarborough location, they just gave me replacement pegs for free. At this Biddeford location the framing manager would not give me replacement pegs for free, for a picture frame that I’d had made here at this location (it’s easy to look up). She said the pegs were only for new custom frame sales. So my only choice was to purchase a double bagged, two kit set. She point out that they were only $5.99. Thus this review.
