Home Depot should not be renting tools that they are questioning whether or not they are functioning properly before the customer even has it loaded . I will not rent another tool from them again

Today I learned that Home Depot does not honor warranties unless the product was purchased with a Home Depot credit card. Product has 5 year warranty and goes defective after 9 months. Im told that my payment method only gives me 90 days of coverage, while the HD credit card would cover me for 1 year. Unless you have a Home Depot credit card, don't buy anything you care about lasting with cash or your own card as it won't be covered down the road.

I was picking up some items across several departments and I saw at least 10 employees not wearing masks. Social distancing was not enforced, 2 employees walked right up to me. In addition about 50% of guests were not wearing masks properly, which I know they have less control over, however I wanted to post this review as a warning for people like me who would not feel safe in this environment.

Prior to going in the store, I looked for the item I wanted online to make sure it would be available in the store. I went to the store & could not locate it. I asked an employee in that area who couldn't help me. He referred me to the customer service desk. They could not locate the item or explain why they didn't have it when their website says they have 15 in stock. They asked an employee who worked in that department. He came over to CS & said (right in front of us), "Maybe when I'm back from my break I could help you out" & walked away. At that point, if I didn't have an urgent need for the product, I would have walked out. I went & chose an alternative product & ended up spending more money for a product that wasn't as good as the one advertised online - as a temporary solution. I'll try a different store for the product I need.

Why is it lately I find myself returning more items purchased then my items kept lately. I spend quite a bit of money at this place and 90% of the time it either doesn't work or barely works at all. Today I bought a brand new grille from them. It was all set up For me.... I turn the gas on and the temp only gets to 150 degrees, on high... I'm tired of driving 40 minutes to this store just to turn around and return what I bought. Get some pride Home Depot and sell your customers quality items and not the b******* you keep selling. If your buying anything from these cheap bastards, your wasting your time and money!!!!!

I want to say this is the last time im dealing with your store, when a customer calls and the first thing he hears is im very busy and your going to be on hold for over 5 minutes and then when she finally answers is rude to the customer well we as customers dont need that. were all busy but when we pay alot of money for a product we expect to be treated like we matter. im done Ive spent alot of money at that store but not again.
