Stumbled upon this gem while visiting Boothbay. What a wonderful find. There are so many books it extends outside on the porch! You can’t beat the price either. I ended up purchasing a few Stephen King hardcover books, in great shape, for $4 a piece! The staff is super friendly which made the experience even better.

the library is small, may be due to the small population in this town, but there is area for kids, kids can play toys and do craft there, nice little library, we wish we could spend more time there, but as we joined a boat tour, can't stay in the library for a long time.

Cute little used bookstore by downtown Boothbay. They operate on the honor system with a box for donations, and volunteers help run the store, but the inside sadly was closed. I went through and found some nostalgic books that I haven't thought about in years! Some great classics. Unfortunately no one was there and I didn't have cash on me, so I just checked it out. If you're a book worm or even curious, I recommend stopping by and have cash on you! Maybe they can offer a paypal, cashapp or venmo option in the future.

Excellent used book shop with reasonable prices. Well sorted in various genres. Good selection of music CDs, movie and TV DVDs, audio disks and tapes. Discount books on porch. All proceeds help the Boothbay Harbor Library.

A true gem! Books on the porch are available 24/7 as long as you leave a generous donation in the slot on the right side of the deck.

Every time I travel, I always visit used bookstores in search of Stephen King 1st editions. The library bookstore is cute but small. They had Stephen King novels but not many. I didn't find any Dean Koontz novels or comics that day. When you visit used bookshops, you're not guaranteed to find what you're looking for every time and that's okay. There were bigger sections from gardening to travel than what I was looking for. If you're an avid reader and aren't picky about authors, this is a great shop to look through. I pretty much read from two authors so it's a little more difficult for me to find novels I haven't read/are on my list of books to collect.

We didn't go to the Library this year but the used bookstore is still open, by appointment. The selection is as grand as usual we love to just browse. We have had great luck with the Military History sections, poetry, religion and the potpourri of books on the wall to the left of the register desk, really an eclectic selection. Allow at least an hour. Also and I forgot to add this to my review of the Skydompha Library Used Book store in Damiriscotta, bring any books (or CDs, DVDs) you can to donate them. They will be found and enjoyed by someone else and the library will get the benefit from the sale, they get a good chunk of money every year from this store.

They have a wonderful outdoor wrap-around porch used book store. Great place to browse and find great deals. Also, the people who work there are always very nice and super helpful!

While on vacation my kindle stopped working and I needed to read. The library has an affiliate used book store adjacent,so for $.25 I fulfilled my craving.
