An absolutely wonderful shop with all kinds of crafts handmade by various American artists, and it was fun to see items there from local shops near our home! I could have spent hours looking at the various areas of the shop, which is very well curated and everything is top quality (no souvenir stuff sold here). I read that the owners are "looking towards" retirement, and hope that someone continues this shop when that time comes!

We just made it before closing and we seriously good have spent over an hour. jewelery was exquisite! Some truly unique, artistic gifts....not on the pier so I hope more people venture up the street for all his handcrafted gifts... not your usual touristy shop thank goodness.
Walk away from the pier, plan on spending some quality time looking for the right gift for others or for yourself!

Absolutely adorable shop. I bought some souvenirs for my family on our trip. Very friendly staff. Helped me look for what I wanted. I could not take pics as it was not allowed. Very unique and beautiful handmade items. Some were a little pricey for me, but Absolutely beautiful none the less.

A lovely local artisan shop owned by a brother/sister team. They have beautiful pieces that are worthy of show in any home! Both owners were pleasant to chat with and so helpful in aquiring the goodies that we took home. If you only have time for a few quick shops in Boothbay Harbor, make this one of them!

Mung Bean is an awesome shop. Everything is made in USA which makes some things a little pricey, but they are well worth it for their craftsmanship, uniqueness and beauty. Great place to visit.

The selection in the store is on par with everything else in Boothbay. Unfortunately, they have a no photos policy. It’s an odd policy, clearly meant to force you into buying whatever is there at whatever markup has been added. It’s a shame, because stores like these often act as a very cool showcase/entry point for local artists.

Loved shopping here. Unique gifts that were made by artists in Maine. I purchased some earrings and a hand carved Christmas figurine. Very happy with my purchase.

We've been going to this store for many years. I always find just the right gift or card, toy or treasure! The store is organized, colorful, and lovely. One of my favorites!
