Nice little candy store that is easy to miss. Not huge but a decent variety of confections sold by the pound.
We sampled 7-8 candies with a single piece of each to try dofferent ones out. Shop keeper was very helpful and attentive.
Worth a visit for your sweet tooth.

Nestled in the heart of Boothbay Harbor's busy main streets along the harbor you'll find the old-timey Orne's Candy Store which has been serving up locally made sweets to locals and tourists alike for decades. We stopped in after a ghost walk about 30 minutes before the shop was closing one evening. The employee behind the counter was friendly and knowledgable about the products in the case I was drooling over and eyeballing. In the end we wound up with some chocolate covered wild Maine blueberries (do yourself a favor and get some NOW if you're reading this) as well as the chocolate covered graham cracker and hazelnut truffle (also highly recommend if you're a hazelnut lover). If you're in Boothbay Harbor make sure to stop-in for some sweet souvenirs from your time in this quant coastal town.

They have 'made 'here' candy that is excellent and hard to find today, such as Penuchi (butter and brown sugar fudge) with and without nuts. They can become crowded when the town is busy, but their quality is worth it for their High-quality candies. The standard commercial factory-made sweets are slightly overpriced but are in the middle of a resort town.

While my wife and I were waiting for our whale watching cruise to begin, We stopped by and found this local candy store. They had all sorts of candies and fudge is in the glass case and the lady helping us seem to know a lot about them, and was very proud because she said we would come back for more. Had we not come back from our cruise by the time the store was closed we definitely would have. I really enjoyed the hazelnut truffle! They had all sorts of bagged candies for your travels around the coast, handmade ones behind the glass case, and some cute things for all ages. Definitely a nice old Timey candy store.

As with anything in Boothbay its a little pricey, but the candy and selection was good. She even let us shop a little to appease our daughters despite closing when we walked up.

They have outstanding customer service! They are very open to help and have awesome attitudes. They aren't afraid to engage with the customers. The candy is very good. I highly recommend getting candy from this store.

Loved this tiny candy store. Favorites were dark chocolate cherry cordials and the Needhams. A Needham is like a Mounds bar but way better.

The staff was very knowledgeable and were great at recommending new treats to try. I bought the blueberry cream as a one time try… I’ve gone back two more times just for the blueberry cream chocolates because they are so good.

Picked up candy for friends back home and some fudge for ourselves. Delicious! And a cute store that seems a mainstay of the town. Stop in if you have a sweet tooth.

Nice mix of name brand and handmade candies and chocolate. The college age women who was working there when I went was very knowledgeable about the different candies and chocolates and was very kind. All in all great small businesses selling delicious treats.
