Worth every penny to go here. The doctors explain things and I don't think price is bad at all.

Excellent veterinary clinic! Dr. Bowker is wonderful with my female German Shepherd, who is typically very timid around males. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and has provided excellent care to my dog. All of the staff has been wonderful to us. I’m so sad to be leaving the area and hope I can find a veterinarian in my new state that is as exceptional as this one!

My 4 cats are patients here and they are well taken care of. My 18 year old kitty recently came in to visit for sudden weight loss. While there, he got loved on by the staff and got the medicine he needed same day! He's feeling so much better and he's as happy as can be! I can't thank them enough!

My ex's cat got hit her back end broken and had to bring her to emergency place open where weekend and of coarse prices very high $300 to lay her down end her suffering. He had no money and did allow him to put her down. My Ex being upset he said was all set without her body when wasn't but stopped her suffering at least mine some day maybe. She was hit night before and was to upset drive her and other wouldn't help with her so got her there next day hurts she suffered that long thank you for help. Very thankful that they allowed ex to do this just was very hard when almost home find he was suppose to bring her not sure if he dealt with that am very glad she didn't need suffer more. I am thankful for them in time of very sad and upsetting time and driving him there and back was not easy with all happened in my life made it harder driving him there and back guess left it to others which is worse so tired of having to do. Thank you again.

I'm shocked to see all of these other reviews. We have nothing but glowing things to say about the care our medical-marvel dog receives here. He weirdly loves the staff and is super excited to get in there. Of course the meds are more expensive at the vet than when purchased over the internet. So is Tylenol when purchased at CVS vs Amazon. I wonder if some of these "misdiagnosis cases" were folks who declined to pay the additional $ for the blood tests and all that jazz. The vets always offer the option of blood test to really dive in, but that costs money. As it does everywhere.

Only vet around who takes hamsters but didn’t want to take mine (diarrhea, weight loss, wet tail). I insisted a lot but she refused anyway. I finally asked, if my hamster dies, if I can bring my son so she can explain why she refused to take care of him. She hung up on me… how nice and how considerate…

They were very busy but managed to fit us in. My dog had a gastrointestinal illness and we are from out of state. The staff was very kind and professional. The vet was thorough and made the correct diagnosis. We were so happy they were there to help us.

I’m very sad and frustrated by this place. I’m giving two stars because the doctors are nice but the policies and etiquette get a 1.
I have 2 dogs, 2 bunnies, a guinea pig and 10 cats. I’m in the process of still bringing in all my animals because we had to switch from River Road after they closed, but all of my animals have been seen there now except for 3 I think. I’ve also had an emergency that needed surgical intervention so with every appointment ranging from $200-$500+, I’ve easily spent close to, if not more than $10,000 there.
A month or so ago I called to cancel my appointment for two of my cats. They must have gotten confused because the day of the appointment they called me- pretty sassy I may add- saying that I wasted the doctors time by not showing up and that I’ll have to pre-pay for my next appointment. I said I was sorry but I was also in there the day before and nobody mentioned that I had an appointment the next day, or did the usual call to remind me. I didn’t mention that I had cancelled it because they took me by surprise and I didn’t remember until I took a look at my call logs and talked to my managers who handle my reminders and appointments, and they confirmed that I did cancel.
This morning my dog was in a situation where he needed to be seen sooner rather than later. I called Brewer, the lady I talked to initially was very nice and said she would talk to her manager and get back to me. They did about 15 min later and they said the manager doesn’t have an appointment until the next afternoon and I would need to pre-pay for the appointment if I wanted it. I opted to call around and if not go to the emergency vet tonight.
A couple minutes later I got a voicemail from Tammy saying she talked to her manager again and to call her back. Silly me thought that maybe something opened up. Nope. They wanted to clarify that I had to pay for the appointment if I wanted it.
The lack of tact is insane. My dog is in an emergency situation, he’s shaking, throwing up, and hasn’t gone to the bathroom since yesterday afternoon and they want to double check if I want to pay them or not. I understand this policy of pre-paying- what I do NOT understand is bringing over 10 animals there in the last year and still being treated like a dollar sign. Haven’t I proved that I show up, that I pay, that I’m reliable? Why does this one fluke (that was not my fault, because the receptionist didn’t cancel the appointments like she should have) define who I am as a client? More importantly, why is this a veterinary offices main concern when they know that a steady client is ill?
I’m disappointed and disgusted. I will be moving all my animals elsewhere.
