I'm a bit confused about whether Goodwill is a non-profit organization or a retail store. I went to the Goodwill in Brewer, Maine, and it was an unsatisfactory experience, as they are trying to charge $13.50 for a DVD. I was hoping this was a mistake, so I went to ask the employee at the front, and he said that Goodwill doesn't even price their media, yet Goodwill has an ebay page? Goodwill is a greedy organization charging $13.50 for DVDs; the price should be $2-4 max for something that is DONATED!! These items are donated, and Goodwill looks up prices and charges retail prices. Please do not call yourself a non-profit thrift store. Goodwill is a greedy business charging out-of-pocket prices for everyday items.

This place is a joke. They are selling kids pants from Target for $4. They’re $5 at Target. They sell dollar store items for $2-$6.

Don't waste your money at Goodwill stores. The majority of thier merchandise is donated.(free) But yet a pair of used pants is 15.00 dollars. Tell me why I would continue to shop here. Company web site claims their profits are put towards "support efforts" but after some research the number of people "supported" is miniscule , under 200k people and only helped where deemed fit by Goodwill. Feed some hungry , shelter some homeless, especially when I can go down the road 5 minutes and buy a pair of brand new pants for 10.00 dollars. This doesn't add up and we as a society shouldn't allow it.

Too crowded, too expensive. I am sorry, but when I can buy new for 25% more, I'm not buying used stuff. And then asking people to round up their purchase price to the nearest dollar is a bit much considering how much of goodwill profits go to the pay of the executives.

It's a shame it used to be the best goodwill in the area but now everything is bad quality and overpriced. Bathroom is also constantly disgusting.
