For the past five years, I have had great service with Shawn R. My experience has now all changed. For nearly the past two months, I have been trying to get an appointment regarding paying back the IRS. I left a message with ‘someone’ that was never delivered, of course. I was then set up with texting, and sent over everything needed to assist me. A week later I get a reply, ”Checking in if you still need me to look at your letter from the IRS??? ~Kim H & R Block”. My reply, “Hello. Please help me to understand why it is taking over three weeks of asking for a meeting with my consultant, Shawn Rider...and I have still not heard from him? This situation is similar to one I had with the folks on Broadway. Is this the normal response? Again, I ask for a call from Shawn so I may have an appointment with him, please!” Over a week later, still waiting for a response. I will be looking for another agency!!!

My taxes were more complicated this year and I wasn't sure how to navigate them. This was my first time using H&R Block and Kimberly was/ is wonderful! She was so quick and efficient, we didn't even need the whole scheduled hour.

Jazmin Horne, my tax representative, was more than professional and precise in my tax return. Together, we sorted out the paperwork and as a result, my take home amount is on the way, thanks to her dedication. H&R block in Brewer, Maine is highly recommended.

H&R Block has always done a very good job with helping me get my taxes filled out and filed properly. My only issue is the price of $250 for a one w2 simple filing of my taxes.
