I highly recommend Hannaford in Brewer. HANNAFORD is worth 5 stars. As for Walgreens, I had returned home from work to find that our baby's prescription went to Brewer Walgreens (BW). I tried calling the pharmacy for 40 minutes to see if the prescription was filled. 20 of those minutes were spent navigating the cyclical loop of the automated phone system. When I finally got a ringing line for the pharmacy, it immediately went to hold, which is understandable. However, the phone was picked up 3 times where I could hear voices, then immediately placed on hold again. They could've at least spoken to me, and let me know they were busy. So I hop in the car and head over. I arrive to find two people in the pharmacy, one dealing with customers, and one putting filled prescriptions away. (You can't tell me you can't answer the phone and confirm a prescription, or at least ask me to hold on a bit longer while you finish up). Then I'm made aware that they allegedly never received the prescription. I will update this tomorrow IF the doctor's office was in the wrong for not sending anything, but there's a reason for having a phone line in a pharmacy - you can't just pick up the phone and instantly put it on hold for gits and shiggles. This location wasted my time and fuel because no one wanted to take 45 seconds to give me an answer. Go to Hannafords and save yourself time, money, and patience. I promise you will not regret it.

The next day, my better half went to this walgreens to pick up the prescription. She was told it had arrived last night (the night of the original review). So, the woman last night was completely wrong. Highly recommend anywhere but walgreens.

This review is for the store (not the pharmacy). I shop at the store a lot - mascara addiction! Staff is lovely and very helpful. I do curbside often. Even had one of the girls say hello to me at Paradis. They do a great job. I prefer to shop in smaller stores rather than huge big box stores, and Walgreens is great.

"You're SOL." Popped in because they had had a favorite candy on sale, but it was no longer on sale. (No biggie) Asked if they had eclipse glasses on my way out (everywhere else was out, assumed they were too but thought since someone was following me around anyway, I would ask). Short, round female associate: "Nope! You're SOL." And kept saying it. Over and over again. To anything further I said about anything else. "You're SOL" on repeat like a poorly trained parrot. I'm not sure if Honey BooBoo was having a bad night or had just learned that colloquialism and had it on a loop in her head, but I can honestly say I've never had an employee at a public store say that to me on repeat like that and it was surreal. Lost desire to look for alt candy and just left. As I'm walking out the door she shouts 'Can I help you find anything else?' Yeah, no - you've been awful and unhelpful. Thanks.

Want your medication price to change every single month? Want the worst customer service at a business you've ever seen? How about waiting endlessly while 1 person tries to run the pill factory for the entire area? Then Walgreens is the pharmacy for you!!!!!What a joke each month it's somehow worse then the last time.

Pharmacy is terrible…. Waited over two hours for our newborns (ointment) to just be told it “might” be done by 6pm. Meanwhile, they took in others before us that hadn’t even called a head of time.

Called Brewer Walgreens, My prescription ready. Surgery on neck 1/24/23 On hold hour and 38 minutes. get to the store Pharmacy closed it is too cold out. Brewer made a mistake when the filled the first script. insurance would not let them refill it. Brewer only Pharmacy that can straighten itout. I went to Broadway. they can not fix brewers mistake. Broadways Pharmacy was warm enough for pharmacist to come to work. It was warm enough for everyone else to come into work at Walgreen. just not warm enough for the Pharmacist.. You can buy greeting cards, mascara, valentines candy. But not the Meds that Walgreens called to tell you was ready to be picked up. Yu would thigk that the size of Walgreens when they can see the error Another store should be able to fix it. NOPE LET THE PATIEN SUFFER THE WEEKEND THROUGH THE PAIN. On a good note the manager of brfewer Walgreens did say we are sorry. that was right up there with suck it up buttercup.

Great store! Decent prices. Friendly service. No long lines at the pharmacy. However, it is very difficult to get a live person when you call their number.

They tried to ID me for an energy drink. I literally go in at least once every 2 weeks and have never been ID'd getting them before. Very disappointed.
