“Got a flat on Rte. 95 North near Saco. Made it to our camp in Bridgton on the donut spare, but needed a new tire to get back to Greater Boston. First place I called said, "too busy." Jack, owner of Knights, ordcred a tire and squeezed me into to their full-busy schedule that afternoon. Great place, great work, great people.”
“The people at this repair shop with the nicest folks I’ve ever dealt with to handle my mechanical issues. Can’t thank them enough. Professional and very kind at the same time. And their price was very reasonable. -Tom from mass used daughter’s phone for review.”
“The entire staff was great, including Travis, Doug and Joe. Now is a tough time to buy a new car, but theses guys were wonderful, keeping me informed all the way, no surprises at end. I ended up with a fantastic 2022 Grand Cherokee, even a little cheaper than I expected. I look forward to Macdonalds taking care of me and my Jeep for as long as I own it.Came back for first service and it was great! on time on budget and very courteous service.Came back for inspection with Bob and service still great! Two follow up appts were fantastic as well. Great service!”
“Chapter One. Recently moved to Bridgton and suddenly developed car trouble (front end wobble) three days before my sister was expected to fly in from Baltimore for a first visit to my new home. Uh-oh. Fully booked. But if I could get the car there, they would diagnose the problem and get it in for repair asap. They did and they did, and I got to Portland in time to meet her at the airport. Price? Made me smile rather than cry! I was very pleased and told Josh I'd be back soon for new tires. It was time!
Chapter Two. On her last full day here, we drove to NH, the destination being the Mt. Washington Hotel. So beautiful in the fall. Before arriving we noticed a whooshing noise from the car and pulled into a trailhead parking lot to investigate. My right rear tire was as flat as a pancake! We both had cells, but no service! A good Samaritan had the AAA app! Help arrived, filled the flat spare, and we were again on the road. Back into a cell service area, I phoned Lairds before they closed for the day, asked if they had tires for me (they did), and arranged to bring the car in the next morning. For expediency, they put two good men on the car to change up all four tires! Their efforts allowed us to get to Portland just in time for the boarding call for her flight! The price: Again, WAY reasonable. The service: Gold medal worthy!
Josh is my guy! Lairds is my garage! Hands down. No contest. Five stars times 100!”
