Bridgton Books is a community treasure and a Mainestay. It is a great place to buy hard to find and common books at fair prices, with a relatively wide selection for fiction readers and contemporary nonfiction. The knowledgeable and friendly staff and owner are always incredibly helpful, offering to order any book not in stock and providing excellent recommendations. The store is filled with great books for all ages. It also sells many local Maine authors' books, along with unique gifts, calendars, cards, puzzles, journals, and a smattering of fun toys and novelties. The store kitty is a definite bonus. It is a favorite small local bookstore and one of the best.
I recently ordered Cardthartic cards from the company. There is an area to tell where you buy these cards. I put Bridgton Books in and Pam & Justin should get a credit of 1/2 the amount that I spent.

Good selection. Not a place I'd go out of my way to visit but I'd definitely stop by if I'm in the area.

Very cute local independent bookstore. Also a wonderful place for unique gifts for book loves, kids or your vacation in Maine. They are also so helpful with recommendations.
