Worse company ever. Gave me the run around for a year asking for paperwork for my daughter who was injured in her daycare and then said we only cover injuries not ER visits.

Like others are saying, this whole process has been nothing short of nightmarish. It's bad enough that my child got injured at the daycare he was at, but this company is the definition of adding insult to injury. It's been over 6 months and I was recently told (via letter in the mail) that I missed one of the pages of the form I had sent it. I distinctly remember filling out the "missing" page prior, but whatever, I did it again and sent back to them. It's been several weeks since then and ZERO communication. I've just called again and was told that a signature is missing... And on top of that, I was advised that they are waiting on something from the daycare facility. (Although, based on my own experience thus far, I'm assuming that these people probably never told the daycare that they needed anything...) So I'm still stuck juggling this mess between NAHGA, the hospital, the provider, the daycare, and my own insurance, hoping to god I don't get sent to collections.

My daughter was an athlete who was injured at school over a year ago. Good luck getting anything processed. I think their job is to just deny everything so we get exhausted and give up. I can't even begin to explain how many times I have submitted exactly what they needed, from insurance EOB's to provider receipts, to provider ledgers on the account to more. I will keep at it I guess.

My daughter was injured at school 6 months ago and NAHGA is who handles their insurance claims. NAHGA has continually denied my claim and is repeatedly asking for documents that have already been provided to them multiple times. The providers confirmed they sent the info directly as requested months ago AND I have personally uploaded the info to their portal myself when they claimed not to have it. Customer service is nice on the phone and says they will follow-up to resolve the issue but never do. I am filing a formal complaint tonight with the NJ Insurance Dept. since that is clearly the only way NAHGA is going to stop avoiding making payment on this legitimate claim that they've had all documentation on for months now. Receiving the letter saying "Case closed- Information requested has not been received" today after completely ignoring my previous three contacts is the last straw for me. I now realize I will get nowhere with them without regulatory intervention. If you are in the same boat, I suggest going right to your state's regulatory agency for assistance instead of wasting months like I did waiting for them to do what they say.

Is there an option for 0 stars? This company is giving me nightmares. They do not pay the bills and they always come up with excuses. Dealing with them makes you feel like you are begging! Come on!!!! This is frustrating!

Zero stars. This company has drug out my claim with one excuse after another. All the other reviews are absolutely correct. They will try to appease you and say they are escalating your case, but then they go silent. You will have to call them constantly and email constantly to get any results. I am appalled at the lack of customer service and the absolute molasses pace they process claims. I am owed so much money and they refuse to move forward. They will do absolutely everything they can to not pay your claim.

Working with them is like pulling teeth, from a bucking horse in a windstorm. I can't rate them low enough. It took them 9 months of shuffling papers and me pestering them to actually consider my claim finished. THEN, this morning I check my credit score to find out there are still claims they hadn't taken care of, which they said they did, and there are still unpaid balances over a year later. I cannot apply for credit cards or find a new apartment because they single handedly ruined my credit score and continually make mistakes. Run.

My son got injured at school. They been asking me all kinds of medical paperwork and I have given them what they asked. Then they just disappeared. No response to email or phone calls what so ever. Completely scam.

This company is one of the biggest scams I've scene in some time. Most of us making claims are concerned parents of student athletes and this fraudulent claim company's only purpose is to not assist these families.

I have worked in the insurance industry/ medical field since 1998 and no secondary insurance has EVER required an office note or a PT prescription to be submitted in order for them to cover a patient's co-pay, co-insurance, deductible. At some point, the insurance is supposed to HELP the members, not create a living hell for them.

Filed claims with NAHGA June 2020 and have yet to have yet to be paid. Dates of service confirmed by schools athletic trainer and coach. Representative state itemized billing was requested by two hospitals and received no response. When I spoke with hospital records from both hospitals, neither had received any request for records.

They are always friendly and appear helpful over the phone however they do not seem to be putting forth a real effort to pay my claim. It has been since November and the hospital claims they have not heard anything from NAHGA. Everytime I call they claim they have submitted a partial payment. I continue to receive bills for the full amount.

Totally disappointed in this company. Unreimbursed claims over two years old!!! I felt victimized each time I contacted them for assistance. My mailbox was full of claim forms requesting more and more information. It was exhausting and I still have no closure and only a few dollars reimbursement on thousands of dollars paid out by me. If you have a choice... don't choose this company.

So very frustrating! Months and months of sending in every last document they asked for, and still we're missing something, always something...and of course, I am the one who has to call once again and find out what it is, never an email or anything from them. It's been almost a year of this and we still haven't seen a dime.
