“Let me start by saying that having our wedding reception at the 1812 Farm was something I had dreamed of for 18 years, since I was only 10. My family and I would visit the Pemaquid Lighthouse every year growing up, and every year I would point out the car window and say “That’s where I want to have a wedding reception after getting married at the lighthouse!” Little did I know, I would eventually have that exact dream come true.
My now husband and I celebrated our wedding reception at the 1812 Farm in September. From day one, the communication between us and the owners and event coordinator Olivia was punctual and incredibly helpful. From the thorough initial tour, to the food tasting where we were made to feel like royalty, to Olivia’s continual help with planning and the ultimate picture perfect wedding day, we were beyond pleased.
Wedding planning would have been far more stressful without the calls with Olivia, a detailed shared Google document, and the fun 3D modeling software for the venue table setup. The catering was excellent- the food was delicious with perfectly tender meat and paired seasonings/sauces. The servers and bartenders were professional and friendly.
The first thing that struck me on the wedding day was how gorgeous the grounds were, with a multitude of flowers and perfectly manicured lawns even towards the end of the summer! I also cannot say enough good things about their bridal suite. Getting ready in such a comfortable place with my loved ones was unexpectedly one of my favorite times of that day.
The Farm also coordinated with our bluegrass band and other vendors efficiently to ensure the day went flawlessly.
Thank you, the 1812 Farm, for helping us host a beautiful, classy, country wedding that couldn’t have been more perfect.”

“We spent a few weeks in June, B&Bing our way up the coast of Maine, and one of nicest surprises and delights was our time at the Bradley Inn. Laura and Tony were so helpful, and we had our best breakfasts at the Bradley Inn. Our room was charming - we slept so well! - and another big delight was the onsite restaurant. We enjoyed fresh and inventive takes on halibut, scallops, spare ribs, and duck confit (hats off to the chef, Ross!). Julia was our waitress - she was super helpful, too. The cocktails at the bar were also first rate (the ‘white linen’ was my fav - thanks, Emily). If you want to avoid the impersonal hotel scene and uninspired 'continental' breakfasts, the Bradley Inn is that quant, quintessential Maine B&B you’ve been looking for. This is coastal Maine at its best.”

“This was the most amazing place to host the last of many events over an extraordinary birthday weekend with 200 of our closest friends and family members! It was the highlight!! Do the local lobster bake, hire a fantastic Irish band from Boston and let the good times roll! We did! Your hosts at the Chowder House are amazing and fast became friends in the process!”
