“The employees, and the office itself, are great. The workers have always been friendly and helpful. The only issue I've had- NO QR CODE SCANNER!! Come on USPS, give them a QR scanner so we can send packages without having to go find a different post office that hopefully has one, or that is actually open!! It's not like they are fancy or expensive anymore. I mean, cell phones can scan them! It's not the workers in Dixmonts fault and they shouldn't have to deal with customers who are unhappy about it, either. I'm sure they have to deal with those types of customers more than they would like to as it is. A lot of returned packages come with a QR code for the label, which is so helpful when you don't have a printer in your back pocket.”

“Some of the reviews that are posted here are over 5 years old; I think they should be removed or highlighted as old. Staffing and policy changes may have improved service where it was lacking in the past. Current workers should not be given poor ratings for past performances of others. I think the Belfast Post Office and front desks folks are great. I think the USPS nationally is not run well causing delays in mail delivery but that's not the fault of the Belfast staff. I do think my mail delivery is on the every other day or every 3 day system but I attribute that to USPS national not providing staffing to allow for service that we used to come to expect.”
