My mother in law was in need of an affordable, reliable preowned vehicle. After driving around several lots and not seeing anything that fit the bill, we decided to take a chance and get help from a sales member.We worked with Ken in the westbrook office. He was pleasant, personable and responsive to our many questions, requests, and needs.After just a few minutes, he found her a vehicle that not just met her needs, but also delighted her.The vehicle was a fair price and in great shape. We didn't have to "fight" for anything to be properly attended to. The cars was well detailed and with a full tank of gas, which was delightful too...sometimes it's the little details.The whole transaction was easy, minimal pressure (I expect some sales tactics..and there were but non aggressive), and met our needs and timeline.We are only a few days since the purchase so the car is running great. We hope that will be the case for many years.I've purchase several cars in my life and this experience has been one of the best.Thank you Ken and the Bill Dodge team on behalf of Debbie and I.

I bought my car from them virtually and everything they promised me: they honored. Thank you for looking at every single of my request and coming with a good solution. Purchased a 4 year old truck here in November 2021. When I went to purchase the vehicle I made it clear the reason I was purchasing a truck was so that I can tow a horse trailer and I wanted a vehicle that was ready to tow immediately. They sold me this truck with the assumption that it had all necessary equipment to tow a horse trailer. We went to tow a small camper a few weeks later and the camper lights did not work. We learned that the truck did not have the correct relays in order for the trailer lights to work so we purchased and installed the relays. I then purchased a horse trailer only to find out my truck did not have the proper 7pin connector for a horse trailers lights and did not have a trailer brake controller. Had to spend an additional few hundred dollars to install these components in order to tow a horse trailer. So already the truck they sold me did not meet my needs. Then less than a year later the sensors began to fail and caused the check engine light to come on. I brought it to the dealership and they replaced the sensors. A month later more sensors fail. I bring it back to the dealership and they determined it was not the sensors and instead the battery so I had the battery replaced in November 2022. Another year goes by and I'm idling in the parking lot and my truck overheats, stalls, and the check engine light comes back on. Bill Dodge tells us to tow it to another dealership in Augusta because I was too far from their dealership. The dealership in Augusta does the diagnosis and tells me multiple parts failed and I have an estimated repair cost of over $5000. I brought this information to Bill Dodge because I believed the components that failed have been faulty for the majority of the time I owned the vehicle. They told me to go through the warranty process and when they determined nothing was covered by warranty it would be on me to cover the cost of the repairs. I told them I was very dissatisfied with this vehicle and it had been nothing but a nightmare since purchasing the vehicle from them. They told me they could take the truck as a trade in, but I would have to complete the repair first and they could only offer me the trucks current value so I would lose thousands of dollars if I traded in the vehicle. This was not helpful in any way. So I brought the truck to another dealership for a second opinion and found out that the battery I had replaced less than a year ago (by Bill Dodge) had failed because they had installed the wrong size and caused damage to the terminals connecting to the battery in order to install the incorrect battery. I would not recommend any bill Dodge dealership for purchase of a vehicle or any service. Their primary concern is making a profit even if it comes at a significant cost to their customers.

My Santa Cruz needed a warranty engine part replaced and I live an hour drive from the dealership. Long story short, it was first diagnosed in July, 2023, the part ordered and a 2nd appointment scheduled for late September...but after driving there and waiting an hour and a half I was told they couldn't work on it that day due to a mechanic shortage. And the first available appointment was November 1st.On November 1st, I arrived for my 9:30 appointment at 9:20. I did call prior to leaving to confirm that a mechanic was available to work on my car and was assured yes, he was working. My car did not go into the repair area until 11:20, which I pointed out to the Service Manager. They determined that the part needed replacement and it would take 90 minutes. The car left the repair area at 1:15, however I had to wait another 45 minutes before getting the key and paperwork back, finally headed back home around 2 pm.The car is running much better now, so I appreciate that it was fixed. I did not appreciate the very long sitting around wait times on the late September appointment when nothing was done to the car, nor the 4 1/2 hour sit around time waiting for the car to be brought in and then fixed. Hence the 3 star rating I have given. The Service Writer and Service Manager were pleasant, but neither seemed to care how much of my time was wasted getting this warranty replaced done.

This was the most enjoyable and informative vehicle purchase we have ever had! Not only was the price Great but the overall experience with Everyone was beyond my expectation.Troy , Is one of the most impressive sales people I have met in a long time and I have over 50 years in sales. He is outstanding! Jamie was awesome and Tanner just knocked it out if the park.Overall a fantastic experience.Can’t thank everyone enough. ! I just hope I enjoy this Hyundai as much as I expect to. I ha e been a Ford customer for long time . ( my Ford Dealer was not happy). After doing my researchThe Hyundai won me over. My partner and I initially chose Bill Dodge Hyundai thinking we were in safe hands. Unfortunately, the experience has been more like hitting unexpected turbulence.We bought a 2017 model truck almost two years ago. The salesman assured us that its new engine would be reliable. Today, we're burdened with numerous repairs and now a $5,000 repair bill that we didn't see coming.We tried to get some answers, but the salesman who promised us a smooth ride has left the company. Hoping for a solution, we turned to the general manager, Ryan James. Instead of helping us navigate through the problem, he took no accountability and passed the blame onto us for declining the service contract.It's clear that at Bill Dodge Hyundai, making a sale is more important than keeping customers happy. We're disappointed and can no longer recommend doing business with them.Update: Thanks for your response Bill Dodge, but merely stating you value our business doesn't mean anything to us without action involved. Instead of writing a negative review, I'd much rather have a conversation on how we can find a solution that works for both of us.

Today I arrived for an oil change and due to a leg fracture was on crutches. Every member on the team was attentive and courteous. They opened the doors for me and brought my car to the door when it was completed. The car was completed in a timely manner. The waiting room is always clean and has refreshments available. It is worth the drive from South Portland to Brunswick !!

Posted previously from 1 month agoI made an appointment a month out for some recalls. And at the time I had a few issues that I wanted fixed so perfect timing I thought. I told them EXACTLY what was wrong with the car and what I wanted fixed. They said they would have the parts for that appointment and I said perfect. I brought it in on a Thursday and they said it would take about a day. I said perfect as well. They said they would call me with any issues. I didn't receive a phone call so I called Friday. I spoke with someone and they said they would call me back. Didn't get a phone call. So I called Saturday and sure enough they were closed. I wait until Monday morning at 730 and called. I called about 6-7 times. No one answered and each time got redirected to the operator. I left voicemails. And it's was now 1230. Still nothing back. I the. Called the general manager and was told I would receive a phone call back within 20 min. I waited and hour and then left to just drive there. I didn't know whether or not my car was done or fixed. I live about an hour away. So I need to go and get my car. I've been without for now 5 days. I go and pick it up and they said it's done. I was charged a few hundred dollars to find out they didn't fix my issues I had with the vehicle. On top of that they charged me to diagnose the car. When I allready knew what was wrong with it. When I called and made my appointment I had called the Westbrook store as well. And they did not tell me my appointment was in Brunswick. So I was upset about that as well. I will not be recommending bill Dodge to my family or friends because of this horrible experience. To add onto this I made another appointment to get my steering wheel colum fixed and a tire sensor fixed. Since I gad already paid for the diagnostic. I brought my car in Monday morning at 830. On the phone i was told this repair would only take about 3 hours total. Which was perfect because I had to work that night at 4. So around 130 I called for an update. I didn't get a response. I waited and waited. so around 330 pm I started to drive there because I wanted to get my car before they closed. I was not about to go through not having my car yet again for days. When I get there they were still working on my vehicle. To find out that more than one sensor was broke! Well when I got the diagnosis on my car how did they not See it was more than one. later I was told that my hood latch was so broken. Well it wasn't broken when i brought it in. And they had to pop my hood to disconnect the battery to fix the car that day. I called the manager and spoke with him Friday the 6th! I was told I would revive a phone call on Monday. which was a holiday. I never received a phone call nor did I that whole week after. even after calling them again. I just received a phone call today and he said he would check on it. I waited 2 weeks for the same response I received last Friday. I decided to give them a second chance and that was a big mistake. I will definitely not be bringing my car back there ever again. It's been over 3 months and my car is still not fixed. And now has another issue and they won't take accountability for it. I will now be making an appointment somewhere else to fix their mistake. I'm so terribly disappointed. I spent a lot of time and money that I shouldn't have had to do. i feel I should be reimbursed for the charges to fix my car the proper way. I figured a dealership would know how to fix my car. A car that they work on day in and day out. I was wrong to assume that.

We bought a used Kona EV here about two months ago. Our emergency charger cord which we had to use until we could get a permanent fast charger installed just stopped functioning. We wanted a replacement (under warranty), but they had to "check it" first. This would literally take a minute. We droppped off the faulty charger on this past Saturday and hoped we would get a replacement on the following Monday or Tuesday. As of Tuesday they hadn't had "a chance" to look at it. Yeah, right. If it's going to take you that long why don't they give us one to use in the meantime? So now we have to go to a public charger which costs $ every time (time that we don't have as we have to drive to the Portland area (from New Gloucester) and we are extremely busy and have to go out of our way to do so. Thanks Bill Dodge. We will be sure to NEVER use you service department.

Bill Dodge Hyundai has a great team…..Mr Tanner was very knowledgeable & Mr. Troy he is the best. Both these people treated me with the utmost respect and their knowledge is phenomenal. Two very sweet gentlemen….. I will be doing business with them until this vehicle is no more…… thank you so much. ❤️

Quick, attentive staff. Just oil change and tire rotation. So far, so good. My first service of used 4Runner bought in February. Free oil change, and they also rotated the new tires put on at sale, free of charge. Appreciate!

I recently went in to have two recalls fixed on mmy Hyundai. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and worked fast to get my car back to me. Scheduling was super convenient also. I'm extremely satisfied with the care my car and myself received from The staff at Bill Dodge Hyundai!!!
