“I don't use tunnel washes, only self serve. Their self serve stalls do have the convenience of card readers, but they purchase a set amount of time and you can't stop it early in order to only pay for what you need. Better car washes I've been to have you swipe your card and use it for as long as you need until you hit the button to stop.
Also the soap brushes kind of suck. They spit out soap for the first 30 seconds and then just stop so you can't actually wash your whole car with it.
Edit: Changed from 3 to 4 stars. A lot of the equipment has been updated and works much better (sprayers and brushes). The card readers still don't just bill you for how long you choose to run it.”

“Super nice guy! Had some weird plant material on the hood and he wasn’t sure if it would clean it or not in the touchless so he covered the charge for me. It was able to remove the plant matter and my truck looks great!”
