Tried P/U Paxlovid rx after hours for spouse. Refused to fill b/c provider failed to write exactly when s/s began - they didn’t call Pt or on call provider. They called a closed office and refused to just ask me when s/s started. Unhelpful at a tough time - won’t be forgotten easily .

Left message yesterday, asking about prescriptions that I needed refills on. They faxed my PCP to request refills for me & my ‘scripts are ready today! They’re always busy & working hard & I thoroughly appreciate the speed w/ which they got things done for me!!!

very poor customer service. I hate to write bad reviews in public, but I’ve had more than one bad service experience and have observed the way other customers are treated. The hours are more convenient than other pharmacies and it’s close by, which is why we use it but more often than not, I wish I went somewhere else. Mostly it’s just one guy (Nik) that works there who has very little empathy and tact, and it’s off-putting. I just had a whole venting session with another unhappy customer in the produce section. Also, the automated phone call for your prescription goes out a day after it’s ready, so if it’s something you really need, you have to wait 24 hours or show up early and it may not be ready. Another customer said she tried to call but they kept hanging up. We’re trying to get medicine for ourselves and loved ones, which is why it feels upsetting when the service is so bad.

I will be blunt, but honest. Hannaford's as a chain, is pathetic. I considered crafting a list of all the idiocies and insults that the stores perpetrate, while profit taking as a near monopoly. But I can sum it all up neatly with one observation. Their customer service is open four hours a day on weekdays. That's correct, if god forbid one might actually want to go through the energy of asking for help from a chaotic, over-priced, understocked in variety, supermarket, one would have to do so in a small window, decided by staff shortages and cost-cutting during a boon time for grocery stores. Don't let them fool you. If you can go to any other supermarket in your area, choose it. If you are in one of those areas where the competition is too far or non-existent, you have my sympathy. Quite literally, I know of no one that when asked, has ever left a Hannaford's without feeling worse than when they went in. If you shop here, you are a lemming with a low IQ. It is so obvious that the kind reviews are fake.

If I could give a negative # I would. This place is terrible. 2 hours after the doctor put in the order they told us they were still working on it and wouldn't have it before they went to lunch at 2. It's 2 hours later and we are still waiting for a tub of medicated cream that doesn't have to be measured or anything. Just a label. Appalling. They should be ashamed.

Absolutely terrible service. Started Thursday Dr sent an prescription in late afternoon and he didn’t calculate the amount of pills correctly and was told they had reached out to the dr office for clarification. ok good reason to not be filled when i got there. Next day after work. Stoped in waited in line about 10 minutes then told DR office did not call back yet. But they had called the DR office again. I did not go back over the weekend went in Monday after work wait another 10 minutes in line to discover “The Dr had not called them back”. So This morning about 9 I Call my Dr office who said they had not received and notification from the pharmacy of the issue. I even gave the dr office receptionist the pharmacy phone number to call and get it straightened out. So i get to the pharmacy about 415 this evening wait about 30 minutes inline and get to the counter to be told, “yes they had received the proper prescription from the Dr THIS morning, “ My prescription wasn’t ready. But she could put me on The urgent list and it might be ready in half an hour. I didn’t have time to wait another half hour”Maybe” Left again without out my prescription. REALLY !!!!! this is the worst pharmacy for preparing meds in a timely fashion. And this is the second time this scenario has happened recently the previous time was only two days. And they always say we contact the dr office. But then the Dr off states they have not it just a way to pass the buck and blame someone else for their incompetence.

Aside from one generic prescription, my prescriptions can take weeks to obtain--they tell you that they are waiting for more information from the provider, the provider says they are waiting to hear from the pharmacy, the insurance company says that need more information, and the person behind the counter at Hannaford, aside from the pharmacist themselves who are rarely available, offers muddled and unclear answers and timelines, and that there is nothing else they can do. Not only is this poor customer service, but it results in life threatening situations due to lapses between medications. I gave them a lot of slack during the pandemic when they claimed they were short staffed, but nothing has changed. Have definitely lodged complaints.

They sold my medication to someone else and the technician forged my signature. Don't come here. Police have been involved.

Medications are never ready when scheduled to be picked up, even if you call ahead chances are you'll still stand in line or be told quote that will be 45 minutes unquote. Time and time again 99.9% of the time prescriptions are not ready even when called in by doctor waited 3 days to pick up prescription and still not ready. Pharmacy Associates are very rude with no understanding of other people's needs, you can bet a pharmacy employee never waits for their medications. Ask a pharmacy employee to hang around after work for 45 minutes for their prescriptions see how happy they are?

I wish people would be a little more patient with the Pharmacy staff during this pandemic we're all living in. I think they're doing really well being as short staffed as they are. I go to the Hannaford pharmacy for either myself and/or my wife at least once weekly, and sometimes two or more times. (Some of us take lots of meds and have several doctors and specialists to coordinate those meds.) I just think that the pharmacy staff is not always at fault here - They're doing the best they can with what they have. I know that our pharmacies, our doctors and their staffs can get overwhelmed during these hard times we are all going through. The (Elm St) Hannaford pharmacy staff including Lauren, Margie and many others put on a big smile everyday for us weather we deserved it or not. Please Be Patient!! The next time you're standing in line and starting to get real frustrated, please think of the people you saw on the news that day. Ya think YOU may have it bad? Ya think those people may need a pharmacy? A medication? C'mon folks, let's put this into perspective here.Thanks.

I've nothing but good things to say about the crew that keeps the pharmacy going. The Pharmacists and tech's are hard working, knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. These folks have been under tremendous pressure during this pandemic and understaffed. Thank you all for all you do ❤

In pain and needing an antibiotic (called in at 8:30) I went to this pharmacy to pick up prescription at 10:30 and they said it had not been called in. Went back to dentist and she told me she had called in at 8:30 after we had spoken and would call and talk directly with a pharmacist. Went back and still nothing. Another gentleman was in the same predicament and there were words exchanged, the lady at the desk saying he should be patient and it was not their fault. After seeing the two pharmacists chatting while one did nothing to fill prescriptions I knew I was out of luck.Changing pharmacies as being short staffed is not my fault.
