“We stayed with a group of friends here the weekend of June 15th and overall it was a great stay, comfortable beds, clean rooms.
I’m knocking down the rooms here a star because for the level of quality expected here they cheaped out and their towels and bed linens are made with polyester and are not 100 percent cotton. Super disappointing because I’ve been trying to detox from polyester and most plastics in general not including the fact it did made for a hot sleep. I’m hoping they will address this and upgrade to 100% cotton in the future.”

“Stayed here recently while my son swam at bowdoin. No issues. Cute hotel, nice room, good accommodations. Nice Christmas decor. People are rating this place as if it’s the ritz Carlton in NYC. Relax people. For a comfort inn this was absolutely fine and much much nicer than other comfort inns and similar hotels I’ve stayed in the past. Thanks for the great service and stay!”

“If you just want a clean room to stay for a night or two with a reasonable price, this is the place for you. Services and amenities were not its strong points. WiFi signal was weak (cell signal was very weak in the area), AC unit was loud and breakfast items were very limited. We stayed for two nights. No complaint.”

“I stayed all week on the coast of Maine from Portland all the way up to Belfast. The accommodation highlight of the entire trip was The Federal. ? Specifically, I would like to call out the excellence of all the people that work at the front desk, the greetings are sincere and they go above and beyond. Especially on my check-in, Sabrina was amazing, she offered all kinds of great information about the area on restaurants and let me know the differences between all the other little towns I was going to visit up the coast.”
