I have tried Wild Oats 3 times. I have gotten baked goods, coffee, sandwiches and frozen meals for home. Honestly, the food is really quite bad and I am sorry to say so. Bland. Or weird tasting. I really wanted to like it — but after 3 times I can safely say I was right.

Food is very good, but overpriced for the portion size.

Very expensive and then when you pay with a card you are prompted for a tip. (For those paying cash, there’s a large tip jar). This isn’t sit down service. The employees should be well paid and customers shouldn’t feel like they need to tip the person ringing up items. Also, why do they rarely have corn muffins? They always say that they are so popular but “we don’t have them today.”

The wait was long, and the atmosphere was a bit cold and sterile. The food was okay.

Awful place, really weird vibe. Hospital cafeteria food. The staff is treated terribly. Would not return, there are better places to eat in Brunswick.

An overwhelming selection of gorgeous pastries and prepared foods. I had the BBQ panini and a peanut butter chocolate bar for lunch. The sandwich was hearty yet decadent with flavor. I wanted to order one of everything.

Confusing ordering and checkout. Overpriced. And inexplicably, plastic wrapped plastic utensils.

Nice new building, same confusing layout and misleading signage. Sandwich prices are fine, $10-$12, but the sandwiches are pedestrian at best. Not a lot of flavor, and the bread is as complex as Wonder bread. Soup is way over priced, and the cashier terminal asks if you want to leave a tip, without one ounce of service being offered. Cell coverage was terrible, but that's not their fault.
