Hannaford is a nice local chain grocery store in Bucksport. It is a very clean store with a great selection. It is very busy at times given the strategic location, and the parking lot is small and crowded all the time. They are making an effort to showcase local produce. Prices are typical for the area. Customers found favorite snacks and visited often for quick items and necessities. The staff is friendly. It is a good, really nice store with a lot of items you want.
Good example of this chain of supermarkets, well maintained and kept by the very helpful staff we spoke to asking for assistance. Plenty of stock on the shelves and in the cold cabinets too.

The bakery department is phenomenal! I ordered a maritime themed cake ( from out of state no less) and the awesome woman in the bakery department created the most perfect cake for my son's MMA crew! Thank you!
