About Second Baptist Church
Established in 1842, we are a God-glorifying, Bible-believing church in Calais, advancing the Kingdom of God in the easternmost part of the state of Maine (USA) by making disciples of Jesus Christ who are fully engaged in God's mission of love to all people. We offer Sunday school for all ages on Sunday's at 9:30 AM (Sept. through May). Our morning worship service begins at 10:45 AM (Sept. through May) This service includes a beautiful blend of contemporary worship and hymns. Please note that during the summer months we meet at 10AM on Sunday mornings. Our evening service which begins at 6:00 PM offers up a traditional style service with the singing of hymns.
