Fort Williams Park is a beloved outdoor destination owned by the Town of Cape Elizabeth and preserved by the Friends of Fort Williams Park, a nonprofit organization. The park boasts stunning natural beauty, with the iconic Portland Head Light lighthouse serving as a stunning centerpiece, especially when viewed from the south against the backdrop of the bay and crashing waves. Visitors can enjoy exploring the park's vast open spaces, well-maintained walking paths, and secluded spots perfect for sitting, reflecting, and taking in the breathtaking views. The park is generally described as friendly and respectful, with ample room for visitors to enjoy the scenery without feeling crowded. Families can take advantage of the well-equipped playground, while those looking to refuel can indulge in the delicious lobster rolls from Bite Into Maine. While the park's natural state adds to its charm, visitors are advised to exercise caution, especially around the park's unencumbered ledges. Overall, Fort Williams Park is an absolute gem, offering a perfect blend of scenic beauty, peaceful exploration, and culinary delights, making it a must-visit destination for dog lovers, nature enthusiasts, and foodies alike.

Got married here in August of 2024. It was planned in 3 months. I don't know how we managed to pull it off but the Saturday it was planned was the only one not booked. Only paid $100. Very beautiful place
